Excellent! Highlight of...
Excellent! Highlight of the trip. Pedro was such a wonderful teacher, we all learned so much and had a wonderful time even though it rained.

A MUST-DO if interested in upping your photography game!!
Pedro was wonderful as a guide and a teacher! At the beginning of the tour, he helped me find where he was and did not get impatient. We sat and talked about photographic techniques and content and how the technique can affect the mood of the photos. He explained how the various settings changed the photos and created a diagrams so that it made sense. He messaged some more information later--a handout from the teacher! We then walked through the small,, old streets of Lisbon taking artistic photos along the way. He does not force his opinion on you, but rather helps you to get the best out of yourself. He is a true teacher and a wonderful photographer.. Absolutely this was my favorite activity on my trip! 10 stars and 100% desire to do this excursion again.

Amazing - loved the tour!
Honestly, this has been the highlight of my trip so far. The tour was so great - to see real and quaint Lisbon with a local who knew the area was super knowledgeable and chill. I've done these type of photo-walks on many travel / visiting new places, but this one was the best. Pedro was super knowledgeable about the camera and although I've done many classes in the past, I still walked away with several tips and things to think about to take my photography forward. He also was respectful of the type of photography that I like to do, looked at my photos after and gave me ideas on composition. He was also a cool guy to spend a few hours with. The places in Alfama were really beautiful and real places too - places I would not have found on my own. I came away with 4-5 shots that I really like - which after a few hours being out is way better than what I could do on my own. Plus all the suggestions that really pushed my thinking. And it was so enjoyable. Absolutely loved the tour -- so glad that I booked it. Pedro was super. If you're into photography, book the tour!

Excellent!
Pedro was excellent. Great communication pre-tour to set-up meeting point. We spent a good deal of time talking about composing pictures and theory, but it a very practical, everyday use way - which is exactly what I was looking for. We then headed out into Alana where he helped me work through what we had discussed - what did I see, what story was I trying to tell. He also provided technical advice on using my specific camera. And he knows the neighborhood. Next time I’m here, I definitely want to try the golden hour tour.

Fantastic photography theory and practice in beautiful Lisbon
I met Pedro at a coffee shop (great coffee!) in Lisbon’s old town. Over an espresso and a latte we spent a while discussing various aspects of my photography: kit, subjects, level of technical competence and what I wanted from the morning. Pedro taught some really useful photography theory such as composition and then we began the tour to put things into practice. Pedro knew some great spots around the old town to get some amazing photos. He also helped with composition and taught me that very often the first few shots of a scene are just first drafts to improve upon. Pedro is great company and his passion for photography shines through. He’s been in touch after the tour with some more useful tips and even offered to help with advice on post-processing when I get home. Definitely recommend this tour. I hope to meet with Pedro again on my next trip to Lisbon.

Photography Workshop & Tour in Alfama and Baixa, Lisbon: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.
How much does Photography Workshop & Tour in Alfama and Baixa, Lisbon cost?
+
Prices start at $77 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Photography Workshop & Tour in Alfama and Baixa, Lisbon take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.
Is Photography Workshop & Tour in Alfama and Baixa, Lisbon worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Photography Workshop & Tour in Alfama and Baixa, Lisbon?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Photography Workshop & Tour in Alfama and Baixa, Lisbon suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Photography Workshop & Tour in Alfama and Baixa, Lisbon?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Photography Workshop & Tour in Alfama and Baixa, Lisbon start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lisbon?
+
On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
