Expensive and lame
At first; the pick-up at our hotel or the unkind driver warned us at the last moment of his arrival and left us only 2 minutes to reach him against 10 indicated on the website. Arrived on site with a mediocre buffet, waiting, then distributing groups on different boats. Visit a charming first island with an hour to enjoy, then stop in the lagoon, swim in the crowd for 30min, then change spot for a little snorkeling for 40min to Viking cellar, nice but crowd bath again ( I was even hit by a canoe ). Then comes the main disappointment: Maya Bay is closed so we won’t go, yet I paid for it. And monkey beach which is a simple 5 min stop to go see from the boat monkeys on a rock along the coast of PhiPhi Don. Yet I paid to go to this beach. Then come the icing on the cake. The included meal is a canteen where all the dishes are cold, bad and not traditional. Deplorable quality canteen food for Indian, Chinese and European tourism. Remember to take a waterproof bag and a towel Tourists on the boat wet everything in their path without remorse. The team, apart from the transfer driver, was very friendly and kind. The return was marked by a 30-minute wait for our transfer to pick us up. So yes 80€ for 2 for this experience is clearly to be avoided. Not to mention the 400bath per person to access parks where we stay maximum one hour in the crowd.
Response from the operator: Dear Simon, We'd like to clarify a few points regarding your pickup. A confirmation for your pickup time was sent to you one day before your tour date, not on the day of the tour itself. Our driver arrived at your hotel at the scheduled time. We informed you that the driver would have to leave if you were more than a few minutes late and that you would need to find your own way to the pier. We understand that a few minutes may not seem significant, but we have other customers at different hotels waiting to be picked up as well. If all customers are late, it causes a significant delay for everyone and is unfair to those who are on time. We want to ensure everyone has a smooth and timely start to their tour. The closure of Maya Bay from August 1st to September 30th is a government mandate for environmental preservation. We clearly mention this in our tour details. During this period, we provide a scenic view from the boat. Similarly, visits to Monkey Beach are dependent on tidal conditions for safety, and if the tide is too high, it's not possible to stop there. All details regarding these points and the National Park fees are clearly outlined in the tour description. We highly recommend reviewing all the details of your chosen tour before booking to ensure it aligns with your expectations. We hope you still enjoyed the beautiful sights of the tour. Best regards, Parallel Tour Best regards,

Fantastic experience of Phi Phi Islands with friendly local guides and money well spent
The whole experience was well organized from the start with on time hotel pickup to smooth checkin process. The activities and all the locations mentioned in the itinerary were followed and had the opportunity to taste some buffet lunch in Phi Phi Islands which was also included. The tour guide was very friendly local who was kind enough to explain all the details with regard to activities and with thorough instructions regarding what to do and not to do in each location. This is well worth the money and would highly recommend it to anyone want explore all that Phi Phi islands and surrounds had offer. The only negative I would say is that because the start time is around 9am after checkin and all the procedures when we go to Maya bay which is the main attraction it is stormed with crowds which makes it hard to properly experience it. If the they can cater this buy somehow changing the schedule or starting early the whole experience would flawless. But nevertheless it is a must for anyone who is visiting Krabi to experience.
Response from the operator: Dear Yoshen Thank you for taking your time to give us you feedback, we are grateful to have customers like you :) Wish you have the best time in your holiday! Best regards, Thailand Tours Team

+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. +
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Krabi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
