⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable Halifax experience with Nova connect shuttle
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable Halifax experience with Nova Connect Shuttle! We booked the Peggy’s Cove & Halifax Highlights Tour with Nova Connect Shuttle, including stops at Citadel Hill, the Public Gardens, and other beautiful Halifax landmarks, and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made during our trip. From the very beginning, everything was smooth, organized, and comfortable. Our tour guide, Ravv, was absolutely exceptional — friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone had a great experience. Ravv didn’t just take us from one place to another; we learned interesting stories and local history along the way, which made the tour so much more meaningful. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, the timing was well managed, and we never felt rushed. Peggy’s Cove was breathtaking, and the Halifax stops, especially Citadel Hill and the Public Gardens, gave us a wonderful feel for the city. What stood out most was the personal touch. Ravv made us feel like we were exploring Halifax with a local friend rather than simply being on a standard tour. Highly recommend Nova Connect Shuttle to anyone visiting Halifax or Nova Scotia. If you want a comfortable, well-organized tour with a guide who truly cares about your experience, this is the company to book with. We would absolutely book with Nova Connect Shuttle again! 🌊🍁 Thank you, Ravv, for making our Halifax trip so memorable!

Peggy s cover tour
Excellent service and it was great experience—highly professional, friendly, and I would definitely recommend them to others.”

What should have been wasn’t.
Was not advised tour includes up to a maximum of seven guests. Our group was five crammed into a rented three row SUV…because the primary vehicle was out of service. Was not good for this age 70+ person getting in and out of the third row. It was torturous. The partner of the assigned guide substituted for the guide who was traveling out of the country. She was very nice but not well versed in Halifax history, geography, and general information we come to expect from a tour guide There was no proper narration. Finally, the three other guests who were in the car when we were picked up at the designated location, the Westin Nova Scotian hotel were passengers on the same cruise. They were picked up at Cruise Terminal 22. We were not given that option. We found our way to the Westin for pickup. We did get dropped off more conveniently at Terminal 22.

Great sights, disappointing guide
While we loved the content of the tour, our guide/driver was inexperienced and had no background and did not share information or history as advertised.

Tour of Halifax
Harry was a great driver and very pleasant. He drove us to many Halifax sites and told us about his personal life and stories. However, he did not know much about Halifax’s history.

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Peggy's Cove and Halifax Highlights Sightseeing Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Halifax.
How much does Peggy's Cove and Halifax Highlights Sightseeing Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $81 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Halifax usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Peggy's Cove and Halifax Highlights Sightseeing Tour take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Halifax is not rushed.
Is Peggy's Cove and Halifax Highlights Sightseeing Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Halifax, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Peggy's Cove and Halifax Highlights Sightseeing Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Peggy's Cove and Halifax Highlights Sightseeing Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Peggy's Cove and Halifax Highlights Sightseeing Tour?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Halifax can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Halifax and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Peggy's Cove and Halifax Highlights Sightseeing Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Halifax within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Halifax?
+
On Outty we rank every Halifax experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wine and Lunch Escape, Small Group Tour - Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, the Annapolis Valley, Half-Day Historical Tour of Halifax. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Halifax?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Halifax?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
