    Wonderful Pearl Harbor experience

Kanoe, our travel guide was OUTSTANDING! She could not have been more professional, courteous, caring, and knowledgeable!!!! She remembered names of everyone of the 24 in our group!!! She went back to the rental booth, as we were about to leave as my daughter’s belongings were in the Pearl Harbor rental locker !!!!! We will highly recommend the “Go Tour” travel company as their company does a stellar job with their guests! Thank you for a wonderful experience! Kathy and Brooke Zarling

60 years of American history in one day

A full immersion in the history of December 1941. Yes, it’s a long day but when you consider the range of history it’s very worthwhile

A definite must see, but pick the right way to visit for you

So on your first trip to Oahu, a trip to the Pearl Harbour site is something of a must do. We took a tour due to not having a hire car, and it was definitely something we would recommend making the effort to visit. The main site with the USS Arizona memorial is very well delivered, with a good balance of things to see and prompts for quiet reflection. We also visited the USS Missouri site around the corner which was also well worth seeing. The only reason for not rating this tour better is that it just felt like it needed to be a bit longer. Presumably there are longer tours out there but this felt like it should have been long enough with a 8am pickup and 3pm drop off. However a chunk of this time is spent visiting the military cemetery which was a bit out of the way before heading to Pearl Harbour, so the time there wasn’t really long enough to feel like you covered everything you really wanted to. This wasn’t helped by the food truck at the Missouri having a long and slow line which meant lunch took 45 minutes out of the itinerary. As a result we had to skip seeing the sub at the Arizona site and rather rushed around the Missouri which was a shame. Art, our guide, was great though, with lots of knowledge and good humour through the day. If you don’t have a car then the tour is ok but look at the itinerary, duration and things you want to spend time exploring carefully so you pick the best tour for you. Given everyone explores differently at this kind of site, it does probably work better under your own steam if you want to go at your own pace, although you do miss out on the guides knowledge that way. Pearl Harbour itself is one not to miss though, however you choose to do it

Pearl Harbor tour is the best!

Pearl Harbor is our number one travel experience. Great mix of history, family, and stories that bring this experience home for us. Kanoi is a great tour guide mixing stories and empathy, and getting to know us as her extended Ohana 🤗

Pearl Harbor: USS Arizona Memorial & USS Missouri Battleship Tour from Waikiki: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oahu.

How much does Pearl Harbor: USS Arizona Memorial & USS Missouri Battleship Tour from Waikiki cost?

    +

Prices start at $157 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oahu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Pearl Harbor: USS Arizona Memorial & USS Missouri Battleship Tour from Waikiki take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oahu is not rushed.

Is Pearl Harbor: USS Arizona Memorial & USS Missouri Battleship Tour from Waikiki worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 1,465 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Oahu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Pearl Harbor: USS Arizona Memorial & USS Missouri Battleship Tour from Waikiki?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Pearl Harbor: USS Arizona Memorial & USS Missouri Battleship Tour from Waikiki suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Pearl Harbor: USS Arizona Memorial & USS Missouri Battleship Tour from Waikiki?

    +

Around 513 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oahu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oahu and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Pearl Harbor: USS Arizona Memorial & USS Missouri Battleship Tour from Waikiki start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oahu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Oahu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Oahu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oahu: Full or Half Day Grand Circle Island Tour, Oahu Small-Group Circle Island Tour with Turtle Snorkeling, Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Oahu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Oahu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
