Excellent
A huge thank you to Anass for this magnificent 3-hour ride between the lake, the forest, and the Agafay desert. The horses are magnificent, well-maintained, and above all very friendly! Which is essential for good riding conditions. I recommend it 100% and am already looking forward to the next ride.

A fun ride on superb horses!
My husband and I had a wonderful time riding with Anass around the beautiful desert landscape that surrounds this stable. The horses were very well trained and a joy to ride. As we are not the best riders, we just walked on our mounts, but accomplished riders would enjoy the challenge of these lovely, well cared for animals. We also had lunch on our tour which was fun at the local camp. We highly recommend this stable for all types of riders. Great way to see the Moroccan countryside!

Horrible.
To be absolutely avoided! Excellent rider but horrible ride: horses not out in 10 days so nervous and explosive. Beautiful scenery but return on foot to go along until exhaustion the horse. 45 minutes wasted on the fare, then. Walk in desert camp which is an open dump see photos. Very insecure climate. Misplaced and sexist remarks. Inappropriate seductive attitude. From the moment I expressed my request to simply enjoy the horse and nature, responsible did not speak to me for 2 hours (well thank you!). Other hikes exist in the same place. Really I do not recommend!

Unforgettable Horse Riding Experience in Marrakech!
Our experience with Black Stallion Horse Riding was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organised, professional, and safe, making it an incredible experience for both beginners and experienced riders. The horses are beautiful, well-trained, and clearly very well cared for. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate, taking the time to make sure everyone felt comfortable and confident. Riding through the stunning Moroccan landscapes was truly magical and something we will never forget. The atmosphere was calm, authentic, and enjoyable, with great attention to detail throughout the whole experience. If you’re looking for a unique activity in Marrakech that combines nature, adventure, and professionalism, this is the place to go. Highly recommended — easily a 10/10 experience and a must-do in Marrakech! 🐎✨

Great ride in beautiful terrain
The ride around the lake was simply impressive: a tranquil, extensive landscape, beautiful views of the water and the surrounding nature as well as an overall very relaxed atmosphere. The experience had something very special and will stay with me for a long time. I really enjoyed the time and can highly recommend this activity to anyone looking for a special nature and outdoor experience in the region. The only criticism: The transmission of the booking to the organizer did not work smoothly. Be sure to report to the organizer beforehand.

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Peaceful Horse Riding By The Lake Marrakech: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Peaceful Horse Riding By The Lake Marrakech cost?
+
Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Peaceful Horse Riding By The Lake Marrakech take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Peaceful Horse Riding By The Lake Marrakech worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Peaceful Horse Riding By The Lake Marrakech?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Peaceful Horse Riding By The Lake Marrakech suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 15. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Peaceful Horse Riding By The Lake Marrakech?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Peaceful Horse Riding By The Lake Marrakech start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
