The breathtaking landscape that we will admire from the path, to the fishing villages of Maiori and Minori, but above all we will visit the countryside of the Amalfi Coast, with the cultivation of the typical lemon of Amalfi the "Sfusato Amalfitano" which in this part of the coast represents the main source of subsistence for the local populations. We will immerse ourselves in the lush Mediterranean scrub between which the path overlooking the sea of the Amalfi Coast winds, among carob trees, olive trees, vines and fantastic lemon groves, and we together with farmer Giovanni will visit one of the most beautiful, also we will taste a delicious granita and homemade lemon salad. Finally we will visit the pastry shop of "Sal DE Riso" the most famous on the Amalfi Coast where you can taste the fantastic desserts but above all the delicious "Lemon Delight".

Hot walk in August but worth it for the lemon slushy!
This is a lovely walk but it does have a steep climb and descent whether you start from Maiori or Minori. It was even harder because of the heat (we went in August) so be prepared and take water. There are places to fill your bottle on the path which were most welcome. We got the ferry from Amalfi to Maiori and took some time to explore the town and the promenade first which we enjoyed. We then made our way to Santa Maria church where the walk begins. There were so many steps to climb and we were glad of the pockets of shade but once it levelled off it was easy walking and the views were lovely. There are a few places to stop off on the walk and try some of the lemon produce. We had a gorgeous lemon slushy overlooking the lemon groves before heading down into Minori where we were able to get the ferry back to Amalfi. There were not huge numbers of people walking the path so a nice activity to do without the crowds of some of the places along the Amalfi coast. We did this walk ourselves without a tour which suited us perfectly and cost us nothing more than the price of the slushy!

Don't book. Do it self guided
We didn't book this as a tour. To be honest booking with a guide is not needed. Minori or Maiori are both easily accessible buly bus or ferry. The entrance to the path is easily identifiable from Minori and well sign posted. Lots of little lemon stands along the way but its not walking through thousands of lemon groves as the pictures make you believe. Minori and Maiori are both pretty towns but not much open in April. The walks its self is relatively easy. Just a lot of stairs at the start and end.

Gorgeous views!
We hiked this from Minori to Maiori. The path goes up for what feels like forever, but we were rewarded with gorgeous views. There are steps going up which are very doable, just need to pave the ascent. We passed the lemon orchards along the way, some mules, a few small restaurants, and people’s residences. Very enjoyable!

Beautiful views
Beautiful hike from Maiori to Minori with spectacular views, well kept path, and lots of stairs! We stopped at Golden Dreams for a fresh limonade and visited the goats! The spectacular views cannot be missed. It was a short hike only taking about an hour with stops.

Easy walk along Amalfi hillside
Great. Not too tough. We caught public bus to Maiori. Tough bit is when you decide to take on Ravello as well! That’s quite a bit of ups and downs
