Amazing travel group highly recommended
We couldn’t rave more about our travel day with Daniele to Pompei followed by a wonderful lunch at the vineyard. From the moment we met Daniele he felt like part of our family with his warm hospitality. He set us up with the best private guide at Pompei . At the vineyard he took pictures & made a beautiful recap video of our day. We even got souvenir gifts to go home with from his tour group. He also did our day trip to Ravello & mozzarella making class which was fantastic as well . Also a recap video was given. He was our transfer back and forth from airport providing us with educational information about Naples & the Amalfi Coast area. I would not hesitate to use this company for any of your travel transfers or experiences . Hopefully we will be back to meet again .

The perfect host!
We first came to Sorrento in 2014 when we were given a grand tour of the Amalfi coast by Daniele, so when we returned in 2025, we wanted to make sure we were again in good hands, this time for a tour of Pompeii archeological site followed by wine tasting and a delicious meal at Bosco de Medici. Daniele was again the perfect host, making every effort to make our trip memorable, So if you’re visiting Sorrento or the Amalfi coast, make sure you book a tour with Daniele; you won’t be disappointed! 😊

Amazing tour guide and incredible hospitality!!
We had an absolutely amazing time with Daniele and his team!! We did both the Pompeii and wine tour as well as the Amalfi coast tour on a later date. Daniele is extremely friendly and set us up with a knowledgeable archaeologist to take us through Pompeii, followed by an amazing wine tasting and lunch. We came as guests, and left as friends - I would recommend him to anyone else in a heartbeat!!

Amazing last day of our vacation on the Amalfi Coast!
Daniele & Denise are amazing! They planned a wonderful day & communicated clearly. They scheduled the pickup, Pompeii guide & tour, wine tasting at Bosco de’ Medici, and transfer to airport perfectly. Daniele is so knowledgeable, he was a wonderful tour guide as he drove us from Conca dei Marini to Napoli! Highly recommend!!!

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Pompei Archeological site and Wine tasting Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amalfi.
How much does Pompei Archeological site and Wine tasting Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $1361 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amalfi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Pompei Archeological site and Wine tasting Experience take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amalfi is not rushed.
Is Pompei Archeological site and Wine tasting Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Amalfi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Pompei Archeological site and Wine tasting Experience?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Pompei Archeological site and Wine tasting Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Pompei Archeological site and Wine tasting Experience?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amalfi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amalfi and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Pompei Archeological site and Wine tasting Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amalfi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amalfi?
+
On Outty we rank every Amalfi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hands-On Cooking Class & Farmhouse Tour on the Amalfi Coast, Amalfi Coast Boat Rental: Explore, Swim, and Relax at Your Pace, Amalfi: Kayak-Snorkeling to Pandora Cave Hidden Beach & Aperitif. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amalfi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amalfi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
