Highlight of Tuscany
If you're considering a cooking class in Tuscany, stop looking and book this one. Cooking with Carlotta was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Italy and far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived at her home, it felt less like a class and more like being welcomed by an old friend. Carlotta has a warmth and generosity that immediately puts everyone at ease. What sets her apart is not only her skill as a cook, but also her gift as a teacher. She didn't just tell us what to do. She explained why things were done a certain way, sharing traditions, techniques, and the reasoning behind them. That extra level of knowledge made the experience so much richer. One of my favorite moments was walking into her garden to pick fresh sage that we later used in our meal. We also enjoyed sitting on her beautiful patio, sipping Prosecco and an aperitif while taking in the peaceful Tuscan surroundings. Every dish we prepared was absolutely delicious, and the entire experience felt authentic, personal, and unforgettable. We left not only with recipes, but with a deeper appreciation for Italian cooking and hospitality. I would enthusiastically take another class with Carlotta and recommend her to anyone visiting the area. If I could give more than five stars, I would. A+, 10 stars, highly recommended!

We are repeat customers! Whenever we are in Florence we have a cooking class with this chef. She is the best at teaching how to make all pastas, gnocchi, and sauces. As always, 5/5 stars.

Great chef. Delicious food. We are still using the recipes.
We had a wonderful time with our chef. The experience was beyond our expectations, we learned a lot and were inspired to make these and other recipes when we got back home. A fantastic teacher and wonderful friend! This was the highlight of our vacation, even for our teenage children. Highly recommended!

+

How far in advance should I book Pasta, Gnocchi & Panna Cotta in Tuscan Kitchen (4-Course Meal)?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
