    Amazing cooking experience.

10/10 experience Stephania was friendly, informative and knowledgeable and fun! From the Mercantale shopping, where we learned about the food we would be cooking to the tastings of the market itself was a perfect start to the day. Erica our chef along with Stephania kept us entertained while teaching us to make pasta and tiramisu. The kitchen and cooking areas were well organized, kitchen staff helped keep the areas clean. This all became a delightful sit down lunch that was heavenly. I highly recommend this tour.

Perfecto! Great class and so much fun

Fantastic! Carmen and Lavi were so much fun! Loved the trip to the market…got to sample different cheese/meat. We also were able to ship things home. After a short bus trip into the hills, we arrived at a quaint Italian villa for the class. We learned so much. Carmen was hilarious and Lavi helpful and considerate. So glad we chose to do this tour so we have a wonderful meal to bring back to the States

    Fantastico Cooking Experience

What a fantastically run cooking experience. Alessia, Camilla and Toni were all brilliant in their own right and as a team. We made cappeletti with a sage butter, pappardelle with a pork sausage ragu, a dark chocolate gelato and lemon and basil sorbetto. All the steps to making the dishes were demonstrated and explained well. They answered all questions and kept the atmosphere quite laid back. We got to make both types of pasta and our gelatos as well as try other people's gelatos. The pasta sauces were made by the instructors during a demonstration. A truly memorable experience. We had 2 teenage girls and a teenage boy in our group who all enjoyed the experience.

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for the lovely review! We're really happy to hear you had such a great time. Unforgettable Family Cooking Tour in the Countryside!

We had an absolutely wonderful time on this cooking tour making pasta and gelato! Getting to go out to the countryside was such a special touch, it made the whole experience feel so authentic and memorable. Our whole family still talks about how fun it was, even after getting back home. We also loved that we got the recipe sent to us, which is such a nice way to keep the experience going after the trip. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area, especially families looking for something a bit different and hands-on. Thank you so much for a fantastic day!

More of what we expected Tuscany to be

Visiting the Mercato Centrale and being taught about the quality ingredients, then jumping on a short bus ride to the hills was great. The overall time spent cooking and learning how to make the dishes was fantastic and the crew were awesome teachers. Erika and Stefania kept the mood light and everyone was having fun. Would 100% recommend. A fantastic change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the inner city of Florence.

Pasta & Pesto Class with a View, plus Tiramisù & opt. Market Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.

How much does Pasta & Pesto Class with a View, plus Tiramisù & opt. Market Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Pasta & Pesto Class with a View, plus Tiramisù & opt. Market Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.

Is Pasta & Pesto Class with a View, plus Tiramisù & opt. Market Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 93 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 5,054 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule Pasta & Pesto Class with a View, plus Tiramisù & opt. Market Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Pasta & Pesto Class with a View, plus Tiramisù & opt. Market Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Pasta & Pesto Class with a View, plus Tiramisù & opt. Market Tour?

    +

Around 1,769 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Pasta & Pesto Class with a View, plus Tiramisù & opt. Market Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

    +

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
