An Incredible Experience@
We had a wonderful experience on this tour. The guides were informative and very friendly. We were expecting a light lunch, and possibly some samples of cheese/balsamic etc., but were provided a full blown lunch in Modena, and a very lovely assortment of cheeses and other nibbles in Parma. Beautiful shops for gifts and souvenirs! 10/10 Outstanding!

Amazing day in Modena
Salvatore made our day in Modena absolutely unforgettable! From the moment he picked us up at our hotel, he was professional, punctual, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took us to all of our planned stops, making the entire experience smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable. His recommendations, warm personality, and attention to detail made us feel like we were exploring Modena with a local friend rather than just a driver. We had such an amazing time and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for someone reliable who genuinely cares about making your day special, we couldn’t recommend Salvatore enough. Thank you for helping create such wonderful memories—we would book with you again in a heartbeat!

Country Adventure
Parmigiana cheese education was excellent. Tastings and guide were great. Balsamic vinegar tour in Modena was good. A tour of the crops and property should be added to the tour. The lunch was amazing. Ferrari museum was great.

Amazing Italian experience with Parmigiano, balsamic vinegar and Ferrari museum
It was a wonderful trip for our family with kids. We recommend a private tour with car and driver if you value comfort and the flexibility to travel at your own pace. Driver was professional, nice and friendly, car was very good and child seats were there. All cheese factory and balsamic vinegar producer near Modena were amazing Italian experience. We had private, English-speaking guide, and time allocated for each visit was just right. the Italian lunch was amazing- family-style, based on traditional recipes, with warm atmosphere and beautiful setting. We recommend this tour for everyone who wants to spend great day out of Bolonia.

Interesting but expensive
Turned out to be a private tour just for me and my wife with a driver who did a good job, but did not speak english. Fortunately the guides on the parmesan and vinegar sites did. Early start (8 vs. the announced 9) was a surprise, but understandable, so that we were in time for lunch. They should just fix the description. The tour delivered what it promised. The lunch was way better than we expected, no standard pasta, but prepared at the parmesan site to highlight their products. The only reason for rating it 4 instead of 5 was the cost. If it is not an issue for you, go for it.

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Parmesan, Balsamic Vinegar and Ferrari with Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bologna.
How much does Parmesan, Balsamic Vinegar and Ferrari with Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $180 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bologna usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Parmesan, Balsamic Vinegar and Ferrari with Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bologna is not rushed.
Is Parmesan, Balsamic Vinegar and Ferrari with Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bologna, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Parmesan, Balsamic Vinegar and Ferrari with Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Parmesan, Balsamic Vinegar and Ferrari with Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Parmesan, Balsamic Vinegar and Ferrari with Lunch?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bologna can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bologna and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Parmesan, Balsamic Vinegar and Ferrari with Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bologna within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bologna?
+
On Outty we rank every Bologna experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bologna Food Experience: Factory tours & Lunch By Italian Days, Bologna Local Pasta Cooking Class, Ragu, Spritz, Wine & Gelato, Bologna: Pasta and Tiramisu Small Group Cooking Class with Wine. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bologna?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bologna?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
