    This is a Keeper

OUr tour guide John was terrific and we toured with wonderful people. Tour was also during the Main Street Art Faire which was an additional bonus.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for joining our tours and we look forward to hosting you again in Salt Lake City downtown or Main Street Park City.

This was one of the most...

This was one of the most expensive and weakest food tour I have ever done. I do them in every city around the world. This is my first via Viator and my last. The gentleman in Park City was very helpful but the tour guide was uninteresting, didn’t stay focused on any topic. Only four food stops, usually at least 6-7

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry the tour didn’t meet your expectations. Did you mention that you got a full refund and still allowed to do the food walking and tasting tour for free? Our Park City Food & Cultural Walking Tour is intentionally designed as a smaller, more intimate experience with four curated restaurant partners, allowing guests to spend more time at each stop while learning about Park City’s rich history, mining heritage, Olympic legacy, and local culture. We understand that some food tours focus on quantity, while ours emphasizes quality, storytelling, and meaningful interaction. I appreciate your kind words about our Park City representative. We also take your comments about the guide seriously and will use your feedback as a coaching opportunity. We continually strive to improve the experience for every guest. Thank you again for joining us, and we wish you safe travels on your future adventures. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry the tour didn’t meet your expectations. Learned a lot of Park City history

Our guide John was communicative prior to meeting. He did his best to educate and entertain us. We learned a lot of the Park City history. Unfortunately, we were paired with a group of negative Nellie's who continued to voice their dissatisfaction along with multiple eye rolls. John tried his best to satisfy them to no avail. They affected our tour tremendously. For $900 + large tip, we left kind of feeling let down.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed John’s communication, knowledge, and efforts to make the tour engaging. We’re sorry that the dynamic with other guests impacted your experience and left you feeling disappointed. We appreciate your kind words about John, and we’ll continue looking for ways to ensure every guest has the enjoyable experience they expect and deserve. Thank you for choosing us and for sharing your honest thoughts.

Park City Food and Cultural Walking Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Park City.

How much does Park City Food and Cultural Walking Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Park City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Park City Food and Cultural Walking Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Park City is not rushed.

Is Park City Food and Cultural Walking Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Park City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Park City Food and Cultural Walking Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Park City Food and Cultural Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Park City Food and Cultural Walking Tour?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Park City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Park City and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Park City Food and Cultural Walking Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Park City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Park City?

    +

Park City sells lift-served skiing and snowboarding in winter, then flips to mountain biking, hot air balloons, ziplines and Uinta hiking in summer, with Main Street history and distillery tours year round. Equipment and lift-ticket inclusions vary a lot. On Outty we rank every Park City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Urban Art and Historical E-Bike Tour in Park City, Guided Fly Fishing Experience in Park City, 2 Day Rental of Park City Premium Ski Package. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Park City?

    +

December to March for snow, June to September for trails. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Park City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
