I wouldn’t call this a tour - it’s just tickets to events
This tour was not what I thought it would be. It wasn’t really a tour at all. We met the tour guide at the meeting point (I don’t know his name, he never told us). He led us to the Eiffel Tower and left us there to manage navigating the tower. He gave us vouchers for the boat ride (which ended up working in our favor, since we weren’t able to do it the same day). Lunch was wonderful and the views were magnificent! The bus ride was terrific. Bus was empty we had so much room to move around. Again, we were not with a tour we were just on our own. The boat ride also not a tour. You need to find the port yourself and use the vouchers they gave you at lunch. Boat ride was excellent though.
Response from the operator: Dear Lynda, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re happy you enjoyed the lunch at the Eiffel Tower, the beautiful views, the comfort of the bus, and the Seine cruise. As mentioned in the tour description, this is a combination experience with a panoramic coach ride, a priority lunch, and a self-paced river cruise using vouchers, rather than a fully guided tour. We’re sorry this wasn’t what you expected, and we’ll keep working to make the format clearer for future travelers. Kind Regards,

Viator cancelled the booking last minute. Clients did not go on the safari despite booking early. We wish Viator communicated this early.
Response from the operator: We’re truly sorry to hear that your booking was cancelled at the last minute. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially after booking in advance and planning accordingly. We are following up with their team to ensure better coordination and transparency in the future. If there’s anything we can do to assist or help make up for the inconvenience, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly. Best regards,

Lunch Amazing, River Cruise Great
Eiffel Tower lunch was amazing, view was awesome! The Paris tour on the bus was poor. No narrative by the guide, it was downloaded and guide were say #6 on left, #23 on right etc. leaving out many things we wanted to know what is that building. The guide would respond I don’t know, YUK ! Need a knowledgeable person to add value to bus tour. The river cruise, full of hundreds of people, can understand the prerecorded information in both French and English. On River cruise expected the prerecorded information not on the city bus tour.
Response from the operator: Dear Tom, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the lunch and the stunning views from the Eiffel Tower! We’re sorry that the bus tour didn’t meet your expectations. We strive to provide knowledgeable guides who enhance the experience with insightful commentary, and we regret that this was not your experience. Your comments about the guide’s responses and the narration have been shared with our team for review. Regarding the river cruise, we appreciate your understanding of the prerecorded information given the large number of guests onboard. Thank you again for your feedback, it helps us improve and deliver better experiences for all our guests. Best regards,

Great lunch. Poor tour.
We booked this for the experience of lunch in the Eiffel Tower. Lunch was excellent and we enjoyed that part. The city tour was very disappointing. The commentary was via a download on our phones and was minimal. The tour guide told us what numbers to press and sometimes gave the wrong numbers. She was unable to answer questions about what we were seeing. The bus was filthy. The associated boat ride was ok with minimal narration.
Response from the operator: Dear Gretchen, Thank you for sharing your experience. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the lunch at the Eiffel Tower—that’s certainly a highlight of this tour, and we’re glad it lived up to expectations. We’re sorry, however, to learn that the city tour and commentary did not meet your expectations. The audio app is designed to give guests flexibility during the tour, but we understand it can be frustrating if the guide does not provide clear instructions or if the content feels limited. We will review this with our team to ensure better guidance and support is given during the experience. Additionally, we apologize for the condition of the bus. Cleanliness is a basic standard we take seriously, and we are following up with our transportation partner to address this issue promptly. While we’re glad you found the boat ride acceptable, we regret that the limited narration didn’t add more to the experience. Your feedback is invaluable and helps us improve the overall quality of our tours. Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again under better circumstances. Warm regards,

Wonderful one day tour of Paris!
Great way to see the main sights of Paris in 1 day! Lunch at the Eiffel Tower was splendid and we took the river cruise at sunset…the views of the city at night on the river were breathtaking! Highly recommend this day tour!

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Paris Tour with Lunch at the Eiffel Tower and Seine River Cruise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.
How much does Paris Tour with Lunch at the Eiffel Tower and Seine River Cruise cost?
+
Prices start at $196 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Paris Tour with Lunch at the Eiffel Tower and Seine River Cruise take?
+
Plan for about 5.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.
Is Paris Tour with Lunch at the Eiffel Tower and Seine River Cruise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 743 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Paris Tour with Lunch at the Eiffel Tower and Seine River Cruise?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Paris Tour with Lunch at the Eiffel Tower and Seine River Cruise suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Paris Tour with Lunch at the Eiffel Tower and Seine River Cruise?
+
Around 260 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 5.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Paris Tour with Lunch at the Eiffel Tower and Seine River Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Paris?
+
Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Paris?
+
April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Paris?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
