A fun walking tour -- you will be stuffed afterwards!

This is a fun walking tour through St. Germaine. Our tour guide Etienne was very knowledgeable about all the foods and wines we tried, and he shared French facts -- history, architecture. The meal we had was great, there were three options -- fish, chicken, and veal. We had multiple wines and these were not small pours. I feel like you get your $ worth. You will be stuffed after this tasting. This tour ended up lasting 5 hours so it was a little bit longer than other tours I've been on, but the time flew by.

Response from the operator: We appreciate you choosing to experience the city with Secret Food Tours. We hope the tour gave you a chance to discover local food while getting a better feel for the area. Thank you for spending part of your visit with us!

Don’t miss on your next trip to Paris!

The St Germain de Pres Secret Food Tour was AMAZING! I have been to Paris and stayed in this area multiple times, but never experienced it the same way we did with Stefan! We tried so many new foods and wines, experiencing them from the perspective of a Parisian. I loved the opportunity to learn more about the local neighborhoods while strolling through. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour!

Response from the operator: We loved having you with us! Knowing the tour became a happy part of your time in the city brought a smile to our faces. We'd love to welcome you back to Secret Food Tours.

    Wonderful tour with Etienne

Our Paris: St-Germain Food Tour was one of the highlights of our trip, and that was entirely because of our guide, Etienne. Having visited Paris several times, we weren't expecting to learn much that was new. We thought we'd enjoy some pastries and chocolates while strolling through Saint-Germain. Instead, Etienne gave us an experience that far exceeded our expectations. His knowledge of Paris is truly exceptional. Throughout the tour, he shared fascinating stories about the history of Saint-Germain, its architecture, famous residents, and the evolution of Paris itself. Even as frequent visitors, we learned countless new facts about both the neighborhood and the city that we'd never heard before. His storytelling brought every street and landmark to life and gave us a much deeper appreciation for this beautiful part of Paris. What made the tour especially memorable was how Etienne went above and beyond the itinerary. He took the time to show us a magnificent historic cathedral and the site of Paris's oldest café, sharing the rich history behind each stop. These unexpected additions transformed what could have been "just" a food tour into an engaging historical and cultural experience. The food was also quite good. We sampled delicious breads, pastries, chocolates, and other candies from local shops that we likely never would have discovered on our own. But what truly made the afternoon unforgettable was Etienne's passion for Paris, his depth of knowledge, and his genuine enthusiasm for sharing it. If you're looking for an experience that is far more than a food tour, book this one—and if you're fortunate enough to have Etienne as your guide, you're in for a real treat. Even after multiple trips to Paris, we walked away having discovered new places, new stories, and a renewed appreciation for one of our favorite cities. We couldn't recommend him more highly!

Response from the operator: It's great to hear your thoughts! We're glad the tour added something memorable to your time in the city. We'd be happy to welcome you back to Secret Food Tours.

    Great food tour with Duniya

We had a wonderful experience on our Secret Food Tour with Duniya. She was personable, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. As a professional chef, she shared unique culinary insights that made the tour even more interesting and memorable. She also went above and beyond by making a last-minute reservation for us at one of her favorite restaurants. The restaurant was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We highly recommend Duniya to anyone looking for an exceptional food tour in Paris!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! It’s always encouraging to hear directly from our guests. We look forward to welcoming you back to Secret Food Tours.

Enchanting walking tour of cheeses, baked goods, candies and food in St Germain Latin Quarter

Our guide Duniya was a very pleasant, gracious and knowledgeable host for the tour. I didn’t really keep time but guess it was between 2 & 3 hours. She discussed the history of the area and we stopped at different spots such as Henri Leroux for caramels, Arnaud Lahner for Macaron and Poilane for baked goods. Also I think Le Ferme d’Alexandre for some cheeses. Probably a few other stops. All were good and we will be stopping back to actually buy some products before heading back. Duniya’s English is excellent and she is pretty talkative without being overly burdensome. We picked up some baked goods and cheeses to enjoy with the meal at above places and proceeded to Osaba, a small restaurant featuring Basque recipes primarily. Unlike my wife, I tend to be a picky eater but she encouraged me to try - some were fine and some were outside my tastes but I did try them, surprisingly to both me and my wife. We had some wines with the meal and again not what I/we normally drink but all were good. It was a very pleasant experience that my wife and I both enjoyed quite well. My wife will be coming back next year with our adult daughters and Gen Z granddaughters and we plan to utilize Duniya again.

Response from the operator: We truly appreciate having had you on the tour. Reading your review was every bit as enjoyable as hosting you. We hope you'll join Secret Food Tours again soon!

Paris: St Germain Food Tour with 10+ French Delicacies Tastings: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.

How much does Paris: St Germain Food Tour with 10+ French Delicacies Tastings cost?

    +

Prices start at $82 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Paris: St Germain Food Tour with 10+ French Delicacies Tastings take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.

Is Paris: St Germain Food Tour with 10+ French Delicacies Tastings worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 462 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Paris: St Germain Food Tour with 10+ French Delicacies Tastings?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Paris: St Germain Food Tour with 10+ French Delicacies Tastings suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Paris: St Germain Food Tour with 10+ French Delicacies Tastings?

    +

Around 162 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Paris: St Germain Food Tour with 10+ French Delicacies Tastings start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

    +

Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

    +

April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paris?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
