The only Seine River dinner cruise you need to take.
We've had better food and we've had better river tours, but we've never had better food on a more scenic river tour. Small number of guests and attentive staff made it well worth the slightly premium price. Splurge if you are inclined. Definitely worth it.
Response from the operator: Dear Cheryl, Thank you so much for this beautifully worded review and for the recommendation! We love that you captured what makes this cruise truly unique: the combination of fine dining and the unmatched scenery of the Seine, brought together by a team that genuinely cares about every guest on board. We hope to welcome you back for another special evening on the river! Kind regards, Extime Travel (formerly Paris City Vision)

Very Disappointed
Maxims by name only. Very disappointing. Extremely noisy with lots of children, food average and charged extra for food and drinks. Sent back steak could not cut it with a knife. If you are expecting a nice quiet evening with food by Maxims forget it.
Response from the operator: Dear Gordon, Thank you very for your comment. We are sorry that you rexperience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that the surcharge for the crab is indicated in the product description. Regarding the quality of the meat, we will contact the relevant department so that they can investigate what happened and ensure that it does not occur again. Kind regards, Extime Travel (formerly Paris City Vision)

Dinner at Maxims on the Seine
The directions were perfect and we found our boat easily! The service was impeccable and the food wonderful. We cruised to the Eiffel Tower and the views were beautiful! A very nice excursion although a bit pricy, but worth it!
Response from the operator: Dear Julia, Thank you very much for your kind comment. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the experience, the service, and the views during the cruise. We hope to see you again very soon. Kind regards, Paris City Vision

Save your euros
Very disappointed at the cold food, shappy place and not at all worth the cost.
Response from the operator: Dear traveler, Thank you very much for your comment. We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced with us. As our client’s satisfaction is our top priority, we will forward your comments to the relevant department so that the issues raised about can be reviewed and to help ensure that situations like this do not happen again. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again under better circumstances. Kind regards, Paris City Vision

Be Aware of this Additional Cost
This was our second cruise with the same company, but there was a noticeable difference. Fewer tables were occupied on this cruise and near time to leave the ship, the waiter came to the table and demanded a 100 euro tip. We felt this was not only unexpected, but inappropriate. Kind of a strong arm.
Response from the operator: Dear traveler, First of all, we would like to thank you for once again placing your trust in our company for your second cruise and, above all, for taking the time to share your experience with us. We sincerely regret what occurred at the end of your trip. What you describe does not reflect the service standards or the behaviour we expect from our team. Tips should always be voluntary and must never be requested in an insistent or inappropriate manner. We fully understand that this situation may have made you feel uncomfortable, and we would like to apologise for it. We will forward your comment to the relevant department so that what happened can be reviewed and appropriate action can be taken. It is very important for us that all our guests feel respected and well cared for at all times. Once again, we thank you for your loyalty and hope to have the opportunity to provide you in the future with an experience that better meets your expectations. Kind regards, Paris City Vision

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Paris Seine River Dinner Cruise by Maxim's with Champagne & Music: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.
How much does Paris Seine River Dinner Cruise by Maxim's with Champagne & Music cost?
+
Prices start at $179 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Paris Seine River Dinner Cruise by Maxim's with Champagne & Music take?
+
Plan for about 1.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.
Is Paris Seine River Dinner Cruise by Maxim's with Champagne & Music worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 143 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Paris Seine River Dinner Cruise by Maxim's with Champagne & Music?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Paris Seine River Dinner Cruise by Maxim's with Champagne & Music suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1.3-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Paris Seine River Dinner Cruise by Maxim's with Champagne & Music?
+
Around 50 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 1.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Paris Seine River Dinner Cruise by Maxim's with Champagne & Music start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Paris?
+
Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Paris?
+
April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Paris?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
