OK Not Great
Information between Viator and operator did not carry over. We updated Operator system and that did not carry over to guide when original guide cancelled. We did not see sights we preferred. Plan was not customized and guide did not give all the history most guides do. He was very nice though.

Watch out for phishing emails
One of the first things that happened was that about a week before the tour I was receiving email messages from someone phishing for my credit card information. They sent about 6 messages. The tour was one of the first things that we did after arriving in Paris. It was our first time to Paris and we wanted to orient ourselves to the city and the things we should do and see during our time there. Our tour guide mentioned that he only does 4 tours a year or so. I found it odd that he never asked to take our picture at any of the sites we visited but had no problem saying he accepts tips when leaving us.

Our best memories of traveling have always been when we've had the opportunity to have a private guide show us around a city, especially when you're on limited time. Our guide, Abi, is amazing. She reached out to us shortly after booking to ask what we were interested in seeing in Paris and to check on preferences and restrictions. We were most interested in seeing Pere Lachaise - specifically Jim Morrison & Chopin. She met us at our hotel, and we walked together to the cemetery. Abi highlighted points of interest along the way, woven with historical, political, and local information about the city. She answered so many of our questions about life in the city. She tailored our stops to how we were feeling in the moment. We stopped for a drink and took the metro to see Notre Dame, where she shared some history. Then, ended with some of her favorite local bookstores. It really was like having a friend in the city, willing to show you around and share knowledge.
