I was extremely disappointed because the description of this tour did not match the actual experience. The tour was advertised as a "hidden gems" experience, but it consisted of only three very brief stops, each lasting less than 30 minutes. One of those stops was simply being taken into the middle of a busy road intersection to take a photo, which felt unsafe and certainly wasn't what we expected. The guide met us in Paris, but there was no narration or historical information during the drive into the city. Once we arrived, the commentary was limited to pointing out buildings with very little historical context or storytelling. Unfortunately, the guide was also very difficult to understand, which made the experience even less engaging. To make matters worse, our bus broke down while we were at the river cruise. We waited approximately 1½ hours for a replacement bus to arrive. When it finally did, it was dirty and poorly maintained, leaving a very negative final impression. Overall, this tour did not deliver the experience that was advertised. Between the misleading itinerary, lack of meaningful commentary, transportation issues, and poor handling of the breakdown, I cannot recommend this tour.

The tour is titled “Paris Must-Sees from Le Havre,” so it remains puzzling where you found any promise of “hidden gems.” Regarding the limited time in Paris, this concern may be better addressed to your cruise line, which allowed only 11 hours for an excursion to one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Approximately six of those hours are required for the round-trip transfer from Le Havre. 2. Our drivers are responsible for providing safe transportation only. Narration and guiding services are not provided during the transfers, in full accordance with the tour description. The guide joins the group upon arrival in Paris. Please note that guides in Europe generally speak fluent international English with an accent rather than American English. Understanding different accents is a natural part of traveling outside one’s home country, we recommend doing that more often 3. The bus was replaced for logistical reasons. We did not promise that the same bus would be used for the return transfer. 4. We provided additional time in Paris at no extra charge because your ship’s departure time allowed it. You were not charged a cent for this extension, so we expected at least some appreciation rather than a one-star review, which, as you can see, was the only such review received from the entire group. There is a popular saying in your home country as well: what goes around comes around. Safe and happy travels!

Not what we expected at all
Ourselves and another couple both thought it was a private tour. We were quite disappointed to learn that it was not. Our idea of the trip and what actually took place were completely different. They didn’t feel like we had a tour guide that was on board with our needs and desires of things to see. We had one person at the beginning we had one person in the middle. We had nothing but a driver at the end. We learned about all this architect for people. We had no clue who they were but things that we thought were important to see we’re not even on the list. I think I would choose a different option in the future bus barely had air-conditioning and it was 85° outside so it was uncomfortable on the bus. The WC didn’t work. We stopped at two gas stations when coming when going along with 15 other buses and had 20 minutes to get through the crowd. It just was disappointing to us because it wasn’t what we were expecting. Had we expected what it was it probably would’ve been OK but we had tickets to the Notre Dame Cathedral and they wouldn’t let us go in because it didn’t fit their schedule, which was very disappointing. I think I would’ve found another way in and I would have. Found in different way in and just gone off on my own not my favorite tour. Do some research before you book this one.

Restroom stops are provided in full accordance with state requirements, in safe locations along the route. These are not fancy or private facilities, but standard public restrooms. 4. We are not able to modify group tours according to personal requirements. If you want to visit museums or have a relaxed four-course lunch, please consider booking private tours rather than shared tours. When booking future activities with Viator, please base your expectations on the tour description, itinerary, and inclusions rather than on personal assumptions. Safe travels.

Everything was perfectly planned
So happy we took this trip from Le Havre. Seeing the newly restored Notre Dame cathedral up close was a dream come true, the architecture is stunning. The guide was very nice and helped us take the best photos in front of the Eiffel Tower too.

The tour takes you straight to the best places. Seeing Notre Dame up close was wonderful, and the river cruise was so peaceful. We even had time to buy a coffee and some French pastries. Loved it!
