Great experience

We had a course with Vivienne and she was such a delight, authentically friendly and fun to be around. She shared quite a few tips and tricks to get around to make the perfect macaron and shared common mistakes and how to fix them. The course was well thought through and the time was well used. We also got the recipe for further use at home. The recipe is quite short and doesn’t include detailed instructions like for example how to do macaronage, so we had to add that from memory to the notes - it would be great if that was included in the recipe. Other than that it was a perfect experience! Thank you so much.

An experience!

An experiential view into French culture. Great for our kids who love baking and learning! Great for an experienced baker and even great for myself; a complete novice.

A fun family activity in Paris!

I am quite delinquent in writing this review since we took this macaron class more than one month ago. The fact that I am doing so now is an indication of how terrific it was! Our family of four consisted of two parents, a twenty-something daughter, and one mother/mother-in-law. We all enjoyed the activity very much as well as the yummy treats we were able to take with us to share with other family members. My daughter was so inspired that we purchased items to recreate the magic at home. (Haven't tried yet :-).) The highlight, of course, was our host and pastry chef, Laeticia. She was a wonderful instructor with a fascinating personal story to boot. We can't wait to try making macarons at home - and to return to Paris for another class!

Small little bakery...

Small little bakery conveniently located near our rental. I didn't know anything about the work and effort it takes, but it was a lot of fun. They tasted so delicious after letting it cool. Overall atmosphere and experience is a 10/10.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Richard, for this lovely review and for stopping by our little bakery during your stay in Paris. We’re delighted that the class was both fun and eye‑opening in terms of how much care and effort goes into making macarons. It’s wonderful to hear that your macarons tasted so delicious once they had cooled—waiting is always the hardest part! Knowing that you felt the atmosphere and overall experience were a “10/10” truly means a lot to us and to the whole team here in the studio. We hope your homemade macarons will bring back sweet memories of your time in Paris, and we’d be very happy to welcome you back to Studio Pâtisserie on a future visit. Warm regards, From all of us at Studio Pâtisserie

Great class with a great teacher!

A very fun, memorable, and informative experience that I highly recommend for anyone who seriously wants to learn how to make macaroons with less frustration. Laticia was an excellent, informative instructor. She guided us step-by-step and was very helpful with tips and tricks to improve macaroon success. Very professional, very nice, and very positive with us. Highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this amazing review! We’re delighted that you found the macaron class fun, memorable, and informative, and that your instructor’s step‑by‑step guidance helped remove the frustration from learning macarons. We’re very happy to know that the equipment and set‑up worked well for you, that our studio was easy to find, and that your macarons turned out both beautiful and delicious—exactly the goal of the class. Your warm recommendation means a great deal to us. We’d be thrilled to welcome you back to Studio Pâtisserie any time you’re in Paris and ready for another French pastry adventure. Warm regards, From all of us at Studio Pâtisserie

Paris Macaron baking class with a Chef Patissier: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.

How much does Paris Macaron baking class with a Chef Patissier cost?

+

Prices start at $104 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Paris Macaron baking class with a Chef Patissier take?

+

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.

Is Paris Macaron baking class with a Chef Patissier worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 151 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Paris Macaron baking class with a Chef Patissier?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Paris Macaron baking class with a Chef Patissier suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Paris Macaron baking class with a Chef Patissier?

+

Around 53 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Paris Macaron baking class with a Chef Patissier start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

+

Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

+

April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paris?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
