    Bad beef

The restaurant choices need to be screened regularly. When googled, Le Beef, had three stars out of five and the beef dish was foul smelling and all eight of us sent it back. They came out with just a few more for us to share and it was dry. Sharon our guide was gracious and accommodating. But it was very disappointing. The other food and drink choices were great.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear that one of the food stops did not meet the standard you expected, particularly when the beef dish was not enjoyable for your group. We completely understand how disappointing that must have been, especially when food quality is such an important part of a food tour. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the other food and drink selections and that Sharon was gracious and accommodating throughout the experience. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with her. Your comments regarding the restaurant selection are very valuable, and we’ll pass them along to our team and local partners so the stop can be reviewed. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope the rest of the experience still provided some enjoyable moments.

    An Okay Experience

The food tour was just… fine. Overall, we are happy we did it because we did get to see some of Paris that we hadn’t toured ourselves and got some interesting history about the area. We didn’t think the food or wine was amazing quality, and we didn’t feel particularly well received at the sit-down (chain??) restaurant we visited. At the restaurant where we were able to sample escargot, we waited outside then went upstairs and waited upstairs. There was some back-and-forthing between the tour guide and employee and then another delay, which made everything a bit awkward/uncomfortable for us, but we did eventually get our escargot and wine. Afterward, we walked a bit then stopped to eat our bread and cheese. The bread we received was just okay-tasting small pieces to be sampled with the cheese when we were expecting to have some delicious fresh baguette. It was the kind you expect to see as a garnish on a soup, not one of the main stops on a food tour. The cheeses were all fantastic and we enjoyed them. The French onion soup and beef bourguignon were also just fine but we liked the feel of this restaurant much more than the other. We also really enjoyed the dessert crepe at the end. In future, we would pay very close attention to the reviews if we were ever to consider booking with this tour company again.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback, Jessica. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed discovering a different side of Paris and learning about the history of Le Marais. We are also glad that the cheese selection and the crêpe were highlights of your experience. At the same time, we're sorry to learn that certain aspects of the tour did not meet your expectations. We understand your disappointment regarding the quality of some of the food and wine offerings, as well as the delays and awkwardness you experienced at one of the restaurant stops. Creating a seamless and welcoming experience for our guests is extremely important to us, and we regret that this was not consistently reflected during your tour. We appreciate your specific comments regarding the bread selection and restaurant experience, as feedback like this helps us evaluate our partnerships and the overall guest experience. Your observations have been shared with the relevant teams for review. Thank you again for your honest feedback. While we're disappointed that we did not fully meet your expectations on this occasion, we appreciate the opportunity to learn from your experience and improve for future guests.

Paris Le Marais Food Tour with Wine: 10+ Tastings & 6 Stops: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.

How much does Paris Le Marais Food Tour with Wine: 10+ Tastings & 6 Stops cost?

    +

Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Paris Le Marais Food Tour with Wine: 10+ Tastings & 6 Stops take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.

Is Paris Le Marais Food Tour with Wine: 10+ Tastings & 6 Stops worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 99 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Paris Le Marais Food Tour with Wine: 10+ Tastings & 6 Stops?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Paris Le Marais Food Tour with Wine: 10+ Tastings & 6 Stops suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Paris Le Marais Food Tour with Wine: 10+ Tastings & 6 Stops?

    +

Around 35 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Paris Le Marais Food Tour with Wine: 10+ Tastings & 6 Stops start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

    +

Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

    +

April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paris?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
