A brilliant day out
We had an amazing time. The river Acheron is beautiful and we loved walking along it. Parga was also great and we enjoyed a swim in the sea and some souvenir shopping. Being picked up from our hotel and dropped back there made it really easy which meant we could relax and enjoy the day.

Really amazing day!
This is the perfect day trip from Corfu, especially if you want to avoid crowds. We left early in the morning and took a lovely ferry ride, which was great for me to wake up and watch the views of Corfu town, as I am not a morning person. 3 hours is the perfect amount of time to spend in Parga, a beautiful town with an incredible beach, and the guide was great about letting me change into my swimsuit in the van, since I forgot to change earlier. The Acherontas River was even more beautiful than the picture showed, and I went on a 45 minute horseback ride through the river. I went as a solo female traveler and the experience was such a great way to spend a day from Corfu. Even though it was a lot of money to spend for one person, I would book again in a heartbeat.

How many days do you need in Corfu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
