I was in faro for Afronation and booked this activity, I sent a message prior to the activity to join the group at portimao because they live there and I was also in portimao, the day of thr activity they just sent me an address and I spent two hours ordering uber and uber kept cancelling, finally my hotel called me a taxi and the taxi took 120e because it was such a long drive and he couldn’t find the location finally I got to the beach and Nelson sent another instructions to follow blue and green markings and I did , it led me deep into the forest about 1hr walk later found out I was lost and he was not sympathetic infect he was angry that I’m stressing him and he can’t fly stressed, I had to walk another 1hr and 20mins back down to the beach only to find out the direction was just right in the beach , if was organised someone should have been at the beach to take up the mountain as it can be dangerous for a first timer. The weather was bad he told me when I called him about my lost situation, he said don’t worry the weather isn’t even good so take your time, at this point my leg hurts and I still need to go to Afro nation, he wanted to me wait for thr weather till 4pm and I said no , yesterday was my original flight date but the weather was bad and today I already wasted the whole morning hiking in the mountains cause of unclear instructions. I left for portimao and I asked for a refund the wife Veronica lied that I didn’t fly because I wasn’t there at 9:30 I’m writing because of the manner they treated me no form sympathy if I had lost my life hiking a trail I didn’t know and tried to take my money without flying for weather conditions. I threatened to sue them hence they refunded but I’m not happy with the experience and won’t go back ever

Response from the operator: We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify the sequence of events for future readers. Your original paragliding flight had to be postponed due to unsuitable weather conditions. The day before your booking, we contacted you and offered you the option of a paratrike flight in Portimão, where you were staying, explaining the difference between the two activities. You decided to wait two more days because you specifically wanted to experience paragliding, and we changed your booking accordingly. The day before the rescheduled flight, we sent you the meeting time and exact location. You replied simply, “OK,” and did not mention that you required transportation. On the morning of the activity, while we were already on our way to the meeting point, you informed us that you were having difficulty finding an Uber, but later told us that you had managed to get a taxi. Your flight was scheduled for 9:30 a.m., and at that time the weather conditions were suitable for flying. Shortly afterwards, you informed us that your taxi had become lost. As you had not arrived at the scheduled time, we had to proceed to the take-off site. We then sent you the exact take-off location via Google Maps, together with photos and arrows clearly showing the correct route. Unfortunately, after reaching the first meeting point, you chose a different path instead of following the directions we had sent. As a result, you arrived at the site almost two hours later. By that time, the wind had increased and it was no longer safe to fly. Weather conditions can change quickly and are beyond anyone’s control, which is why safety always comes first. We explained that the conditions were expected to improve later that afternoon. To avoid leaving you waiting in the sun, we gave you a lift back to the village. As you did not wish to wait, you agreed with our paratrike pilot to fly the following day in Portimão instead. You accepted this solution and even asked us to reserve an additional flight for your sister so that you could both fly together. We sent you the meeting time and location, and everything was arranged. Only a few hours later, you changed your mind, requested a full cancellation and refund, and stopped answering our phone calls. Although this situation fell outside our cancellation policy, we nevertheless processed a full refund as a gesture of goodwill. We are genuinely sorry that you left disappointed. However, we cannot agree with the statement that we tried to keep your money or that we showed no concern for your wellbeing. Throughout the entire process, our priority was always your safety, and we made every effort to find a solution that worked for you.

Amazing and Unforgettable.

It was such an amazing experience flying with Nelson. The location is amazing and Nelson and his wife Veronica made me and my family feel very comfortable throughout the entire experience. He is full of knowledge and passion for the sport and this just added to the overall enjoyment. Thank you Nelson and Veronica for a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Until next time…..

Paradise paragliding!

Nelson was amazing! Had a wonderful time flying with the whole family and enjoying the views of the ocean beaches and cliffs. We’ve been on several paragliding trips throughout the world, and this was probably one of our favorites!

Nelson is a true professional! His attention to all the safety aspects of everything involved is impressive and the experience was amazing!!! Wow!!! I will remember this the rest of my life!!! And Veronica was so helpful with all the details for the flight! I am truly impressed with Nelson and the entire experience!
