Best experience ever (thou weather was a bummer)

Raju made sure I fully understood what I needed to do during takeoff and even gave me a little practice run beforehand. 🤣🤣 It wasn’t as easy as it looked, but eventually I made it to the skies! Considering my fear of heights, this is something I’m incredibly proud of accomplishing. Paragliding was an unforgettable experience, and I’m so glad I pushed myself to do it. Now, I think the next challenge on the list will be a zip-line adventure! A huge thank you to Raju, my pilot, for making the experience so enjoyable and reassuring. By the way, he speaks six languages, so if you’re thinking of trying paragliding, don’t hesitate to book with him. Highly recommended

A Perfect Morning Flight Over Phewa Lake

An Unforgettable Paragliding Experience in Pokhara Paragliding in Pokhara was one of the absolute highlights of my trip to Nepal — an experience I will never forget. We started early in the morning, which I highly recommend to avoid long queues and to enjoy calmer skies. I was lucky to fly after a rainy day, and the weather turned out perfect — clear skies, fresh air, and breathtaking visibility over Pokhara, Phewa Lake, and the surrounding mountains. From takeoff to landing, I felt completely safe. The team was professional, organized, and very reassuring. The pilot explained everything clearly before we started, which helped me relax and fully enjoy the moment. Once in the air, the feeling was simply magical — floating peacefully above the lake, with panoramic views of the Himalayas in the distance. It was both exciting and incredibly serene at the same time. If you’re visiting Pokhara, I strongly recommend this experience. Try to go early in the morning, and if you’re lucky enough to get clear skies after rain, the views are absolutely spectacular. An unforgettable adventure — safe, beautiful, and worth every second.

Response from the operator: We are very glad to get such a wonderful review from you .We are more motivated 😊 to make our service even more better and constant.Team Fly Nirvana thanks 🙏 you a lot for such an amazing response 😌...

    Very nice experience

Paragliding using Fly nirvana was a wonderful experience. Thanks to the kind boss, we were able to make a reservation a day in advance and set off to enjoy paragliding at the exact time. The pilot who accompanied me helped us enjoy the flight very pleasantly and safely. If I ever come to Pokhara again, I will come here. It's 5 out of 5.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your great response. We are delighted to get this review from you ..See you again sir ...

    Paragliding: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pokhara.

    How much does Paragliding cost?

    +

Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pokhara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

    How long does Paragliding take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pokhara is not rushed.

    Is Paragliding worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 100 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Paragliding?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Paragliding suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Paragliding?

    +

Around 35 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Paragliding start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Pokhara?

    +

On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Pokhara?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Pokhara?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
