    Not value for money

This is not good value for money. One of the three stops was Balsamic tasting - this is not tapas. When we finally had tapas it was poor quality. Guide very friendly but little information on Palma. All in all disappointing.

Response from the operator: Dear Kathleen, We appreciate your feedback on our Palma Old Town Tour with Wine & Tapas Tastings. We're sorry to hear that your experience fell short of expectations. We apologize for any confusion regarding the tasting stops. While our tour includes a variety of Spanish specialties, including tapas, we understand your desire for a more cohesive culinary journey. We're actively revising our itinerary to ensure a seamless blend of authentic Spanish flavors and a more comprehensive exploration of Palma's history. Your insights are invaluable, and we're committed to delivering a more enriching experience in the future. Warm regards,

Terrible tour and value for the price!

I would not do this tour again snd do not recommend it for the price as advertised. Although our guide Claudia was very nice, it was almost an hour into the tour before we arrived at our first “tasting.” It was a single ensimada that was brought to us. We did not get introduced to the bajery or a history of what it was. An hour into the tour, we stopped at a shop selling locally made olive oils, spreads, and meats and while the owners and tour guide was nice, it seemed like pressure to buy the products and at least half the tastings were available to any customer. We felt more like it was an advertisement and pressure to buy. We finally asked if we were going to have any wine, and we were brought to a nice wine tasting shop. There we had a taste of a local port, two small tastings each, four pieces of cheese, and a small piece of tomato bread. The tour was fine - not great it would have been terrible but our tour guide was nice, although didn’t seem to have a good plan in terms of stops and kept asking us what we wanted to see and do. We kept saying we’d like to eat something. For $250USD for two we feel like we were ripped off even the last place offered one glass of wine only and a small sampling of tapas. Both my friend and I were very dysappointed with this tour especially considering the last three tours booked through visitor had been wonderful. I will be contacting thd business to ask for at least a partial Refund.

Response from the operator: Dear Natalie, Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent private tour experience. We appreciate your comments and would like to address your concerns. We regret to hear that you were dissatisfied with certain aspects of the tour. Our goal is to provide personalized experiences tailored to our clients' preferences, and we apologize if your expectations were not fully met on this occasion. We understand that you were seeking a more detailed explanation of the bakery and its products. Our guides strive to offer comprehensive introductions at each stop, including historical context and background information. However, we apologize if there was any miscommunication or if you felt the explanations were insufficient. We appreciate your feedback, and we will ensure that our guides pay closer attention to providing thorough introductions in the future. Regarding the shop selling locally made products, we apologize if you felt pressured to make purchases. While our intention is to showcase unique products and offer a tasting experience, we understand the importance of maintaining a comfortable environment for our clients. We will address this matter with our guide to ensure a more enjoyable and informative experience for future clients. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the wine tasting at the end of the tour. However, we apologize if the selection of wines and accompanying food did not meet your expectations. We will review the offerings to ensure they align with the price and quality expectations of our clients. In terms of the guide's approach during the tour, we understand that their intention was to provide you with a personalized experience based on your interests. However, we apologize if their methods seemed disorganized or if you felt your preferences were not fully taken into account. We will provide additional training to our guides to ensure better planning and communication with our clients. Regarding the price, we would like to clarify that a portion of the cost goes towards covering operational expenses, including guide fees, logistics, and Viator's commission. We aim to offer a balance between quality experiences and reasonable pricing, and we appreciate your understanding in this matter. While we understand your disappointment, we kindly request that you maintain a respectful attitude towards our guides. They work diligently to provide the best possible experience for our clients, and they deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy. We value your feedback, and we are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, after careful consideration, we are unable to offer a refund in this case. We hope you can understand our position. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We strive to continuously improve our services, and your feedback plays a vital role in that process. We hope to have the chance to welcome you back in the future and provide you with a truly exceptional experience. Best regards Julio F.

    Great and Delicious Tour!

Bernard did an excellent job introducing us to the old town and some of the wine and good options. We enjoyed our time with him and learned a lot about the area and the history. The food provided was substantial enough to be dinner!

We're delighted to hear that you had a fantastic time exploring the old town, tasting wine, and enjoying the local cuisine. We appreciate your kind words and recommendation. Palma old town tour with Wine & Tapas Tastings: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.

How much does Palma old town tour with Wine & Tapas Tastings cost?

    +

Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Palma old town tour with Wine & Tapas Tastings take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.

Is Palma old town tour with Wine & Tapas Tastings worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Palma old town tour with Wine & Tapas Tastings?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Palma old town tour with Wine & Tapas Tastings suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Palma old town tour with Wine & Tapas Tastings?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Palma old town tour with Wine & Tapas Tastings start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mallorca?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mallorca?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mallorca?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
