Perfect to get a first impression of Palma

Different from what I expected: journey out, around 1h40 minutes, involved changing buses and lots of waiting with local guide in Palma turning up late. The return trip took 2h15 minutes with MANY stopovers in MANY resorts. We would have preferred extra time in Palma. On the plus side, the unexpected detour showed us many different locations and inland scenery. The guided walk in Palma old town was good but short and the cathedral visit also rather basic. Whilst given ‘free time’ this is not sufficient to have lunch AND sightseeing. But overall I did enjoy the tour as planning it yourself with public transport would be a real challenge.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share such a balanced review. We're pleased to hear that, overall, you enjoyed the excursion and found it to be a good way to get a first impression of Palma. That's exactly the aim of this tour: to combine a guided introduction to the city with free time to explore on your own. 😊 Regarding the transfers, guests travelling from the north of Mallorca do have a longer journey, and in some cases a coach change is necessary to bring together passengers from different resorts before continuing to Palma. This allows us to offer departures from a wide area of the island while keeping the excursion accessible and reasonably priced. We understand your wish for more free time in Palma. However, the schedule has to balance the transfer times from the different resorts with the guided walking tour and the skip-the-line Cathedral visit. For guests who wish to spend a full day discovering Palma at their own pace, we also offer transport-only options with much longer free time in the city. We're delighted that you enjoyed the guided walk and that you appreciated the scenic drive through different parts of Mallorca. Sometimes those unexpected views become part of the experience too! 🌴 Thank you again for travelling with Nofrills Excursions, and we hope to welcome you back on another Mallorca adventure soon. 💙

An excellent day out apart from some very rude people

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour apart from some extremely rude people of a certain group pushing their way in front of a single female disabled person so they could sit down and then refusing to move when requested. The guide was excellent, and the coach driver was very skilled. I enjoyed the whole day apart from the above which did upset me. A lovely boat trip and train trip. The tram was far too crowded and people who have disability should be taken into account.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review and for travelling with us. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the excursion, the guided tour, the boat trip and the train journey, and that both the guide and driver helped make the day a positive experience. We will be sure to pass on your kind words to them. 😊 We are, however, very sorry to hear about the behaviour of some fellow passengers. Respect and consideration for others are essential when travelling in a group, and we fully agree that guests with disabilities should be treated with courtesy and understanding. Unfortunately, while we can organise and operate the excursion, we cannot always control the behaviour of individual travellers. Regarding the tram, this is a public transport service operated independently from the excursion and, especially during the busy season, it can become very crowded. We understand your comments and appreciate you highlighting the importance of accessibility and consideration for passengers who may need additional assistance. Thank you again for your balanced review. We are pleased that despite this unfortunate incident, you were able to enjoy what was otherwise an excellent day discovering Mallorca. — The Nofrills Excursions Team 💙🌴🚂🚋🚤

Palma Premium Tour from North Area with guided walk and Cathedral: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.

How much does Palma Premium Tour from North Area with guided walk and Cathedral cost?

    +

Prices start at $56 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Palma Premium Tour from North Area with guided walk and Cathedral take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.

Is Palma Premium Tour from North Area with guided walk and Cathedral worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Palma Premium Tour from North Area with guided walk and Cathedral?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Palma Premium Tour from North Area with guided walk and Cathedral suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Palma Premium Tour from North Area with guided walk and Cathedral?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Palma Premium Tour from North Area with guided walk and Cathedral start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mallorca?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Luxury Catamaran sailing with welcome Drinks Tapas Max10-12Person, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mallorca?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mallorca?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
