What you'll see and do
We travel across to Palaiokastritsa on the west coast and you are able to take in images of central Corfu’s countryside. As we pass through Perama you shall be able to see Pontikonisi Island and a glimpse of Pelekas Village further inland. Palaiokastritsa is located on the northwest coast of Corfu. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful villages of Corfu. It consists of six different small coasts and rocky beaches with crystal blue sea water. From almost each coast small boats can take you on a boat trip to the caves that can be found along its coastline to admire the crystal water and the beauty of the nature. There are two most known and important caves that you will be visiting. The first one is called Nausika Cave, named after the daughter of the King of the Pheaceans. It is said that she found Odysseus here and nursed him back to health. The second is called Blue Eye due to a patch of incredibly blue water which resembles an eye. Above the main coast on a hillside full of wild trees and olive trees facing the deep blue sea stand the Monastery of Theotokos. The Monastery was built around 12th century and inside in one of the cells a museum has been founded with Byzantine and post Byzantine icons. In the main courtyard of the monastery there is also an old well where you can throw a coin and make a wish which with the blessings of Virgin Mary Theotokos is said to come true.

Fantastic experience! ...
Fantastic experience! Paulina was very fun and knowledgeable, and offered great flexibility in choosing our experiences. We enjoyed the last minute suggestion of a boat ride, which Paulina was able to secure because she knows all the boat captains!

Corfu is a Gem!
Corfu was stunning and Herculies was a great tour guide. We loved his personality and flexibility. Showed us stunning views that made your moth drop! Gave us the opportunity to dip in the beautiful waters and enjoy great ice cream and coffee. Took us to buy Gyro's at his favorite spot and we were back on the ship on time. He is definitely worth enjoying this beautiful island with. His vehicle was very nice and clean. He was very presentable, profesional and courteous.

Wonderful day in Corfu!
We only had a short visit to Corfu and this tour gave us a wonderful overview of the remarkable island. We loved learning a bit more about the history and exploring some truly beautiful places!

Very accommodating and attentive to us tourists
The people in Corfu were very nice and very helpful to direct us when we were lost. The beach we went to was beautiful. Nikko was our driver and he was wonderful! He dealt with 13 of us and was nice to us. We needed extra time when our tour guide was about to end. They gave us an extra hour. This was one of the best trips so far.

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Paleokastritsa and Corfu Town private tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Corfu.
How much does Paleokastritsa and Corfu Town private tour cost?
+
Prices start at $465 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Corfu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Paleokastritsa and Corfu Town private tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Corfu is not rushed.
Is Paleokastritsa and Corfu Town private tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Corfu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Paleokastritsa and Corfu Town private tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Paleokastritsa and Corfu Town private tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Paleokastritsa and Corfu Town private tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Corfu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Corfu and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Paleokastritsa and Corfu Town private tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Corfu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Corfu?
+
On Outty we rank every Corfu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Food and Cultural Tour in Corfu, The Governor's Olive Mill Tour with Olive Oil Tasting, Electric Fat Bike Self Guided Tour Discover North Corfu. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Corfu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Corfu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
