This event was so much...
This event was so much fun! We booked it through Viator and had unlimited wine throughout the experience. While learning how to make traditional paella, we also learned how to make sangria, which made the whole experience even more fun. We did the evening class at 7:30 PM, which I highly recommend if you’re traveling. It’s the perfect time to unwind after a day of sightseeing, enjoy an activity together, and have dinner already taken care of. Such a fun experience and definitely something I’d recommend!

Unlimited wine misleading
I have been to 2 other paella classes in Spain, Barcelona & Valencia, and was somewhat disappointed in this one. It was advertized as unlimited wine, however, we had sangria before cooking, which was great. They also made white sangria, however, did not offer it to us. Also, we had wine price list when eating the paella. Also, other paella classes include the aprons as a souvenier, this one wanted 40 euro for the apron. The paella was flavorful, but rice was not done and it wasn't the crispy rice at the bottom that made it that way. Would definitely try another option if I was doing the class again.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. We would like to clarify a few aspects of your experience and, at the same time, sincerely apologize for the points where we could have done better. Regarding the sangria workshop, your booking did not actually include this activity. On certain occasions, when different groups with different packages are attending at the same time, we also offer the sangria workshop to guests who have booked the unlimited wine option. On this occasion, our chefs and organizers did not correctly identify your booking option, which is why the sangria was not offered to you. This was our mistake, and we sincerely apologize. Regarding the aprons, unfortunately, we cannot provide them free of charge, as they have a relatively high production cost, while our event is designed to offer a complete experience at a very competitive price. For this reason, aprons are available as an optional additional purchase. As for the paella, one of the things we are particularly known for is the flavor and quality of our paellas, as well as the traditional socarrat, which is an essential part of our preparation. We are genuinely sorry that the paella did not meet your expectations on this occasion and that you were unable to appreciate the quality we strive to maintain in every one of our experiences. We nevertheless appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we can improve and continue providing an even better experience to our guests.

The first class
Very fun and lots of wine. I like it
Response from the operator: Your 3-star rating does not seem to correspond with the content of your review, as the aspects you mention are generally positive. A 3-star rating, however, represents a relatively low score. If you had been a little more specific about the reasons behind your rating, it would have helped us better understand which aspects of the experience did not meet your expectations and, above all, what we could improve.

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Paella Class with Unlimited Wine Churros and Hot Chocolate.: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.
How much does Paella Class with Unlimited Wine Churros and Hot Chocolate. cost?
+
Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Paella Class with Unlimited Wine Churros and Hot Chocolate. take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.
Is Paella Class with Unlimited Wine Churros and Hot Chocolate. worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Paella Class with Unlimited Wine Churros and Hot Chocolate.?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Paella Class with Unlimited Wine Churros and Hot Chocolate. suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Paella Class with Unlimited Wine Churros and Hot Chocolate.?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Paella Class with Unlimited Wine Churros and Hot Chocolate. start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Madrid?
+
On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Madrid?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Madrid?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
