This is the ultimate combination tour! First, we will paddleboard around the calm waters of Maracas Bay in Manuel Antonio. Then, we will head south to discover hidden waterfall gems of the Central Pacific! This truly unique tour will take us to several hidden waterfall gems, which are located south of Quepos. We will stop at 3 different waterfalls all of which can be interacted with. We will jump from some, swim behind waterfalls and even slide down one of the waterfalls we will visit. Please keep in mind that jumping or sliding or even swimming is NOT mandatory, if you would just like to enjoy the setting and scenery that is fine and just as enjoyable. We will also visit one of our favorite beaches in the area, with a breath taking backdrop and caves that lead out to the ocean. We will also stop and have lunch at a restaurant located in the jungle. This is truly a unique experience that gives you a true feel of Costa Rica.

    MUST DO!!

I would absolutely do this again!! Alex & Mike were THE BEST!! They made us feel so welcomed, we’re so knowledgeable about Costa Rica, & made us feel safe. out of the 5 tours we did, this was our favorite!

Wonderful guides and such unique experimeces!

We did both the paddle boarding and waterfall adventure tours with Paddle 9 and loved every minute. The staff were fun, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly proud to share the history and details of the region — we came away with a much deeper appreciation for the area. A special shoutout to DK, who was wonderful with our 10-year-old son and got him totally comfortable paddling out in the Pacific. Can’t recommend enough!

    Fun day SUPing and waterfalls

We had a superb day with guides Ken, Mambo and Alonso, and thanks to Eric for his smooth driving. The day started being collected by Ken for a peaceful and very safe first ever experience of stand up paddle boarding. He was so patient and kind with us and filled us with confidence. We then met the rest of the group and guides and had a lot of fun jumping into water pools at separate waterfalls. Again, ultimate care and safety throughout. Lunch at a Talapia farm followed by a trip to a local beach. A wonderful day and well worth it.

    Awesome adventure day!

Really enjoyed this experience. The SUP part is short and this is more of a waterfall adventure tour. Our guides were SUPERB…Reece, Mambo, and Rasta!! We felt safe and they were friendly and thoughtful. Highly recommended this tour!!

    Super super super

Super experience, shout out to Ismael, Reece and Mike, attentive , friendly and encouraging but not pushy guides. Much better experience than boring national park, saw sloth up close, ate great lunch after swimming a lot. Yeah, do it, :) no brainer

Paddle Boarding & Waterfall Full Day Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quepos.

How much does Paddle Boarding & Waterfall Full Day Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $185 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quepos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Paddle Boarding & Waterfall Full Day Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quepos is not rushed.

Is Paddle Boarding & Waterfall Full Day Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 40 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quepos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Paddle Boarding & Waterfall Full Day Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Paddle Boarding & Waterfall Full Day Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Paddle Boarding & Waterfall Full Day Tour?

    +

Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quepos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quepos and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Paddle Boarding & Waterfall Full Day Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quepos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Quepos?

    +

On Outty we rank every Quepos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Waterfall Adventure, Manuel Antonio Canopy Tour - Longest Twin Zip Line in Central America, Manuel Antonio Park Tour and its Amazing Wildlife and Beaches. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Quepos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Quepos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
