Marco is the godfather (of Etna!)
Marco took us to Etna and did the Godfather. His knowledge was exceptional. An amazing tour all round. We can’t thank him enough!

Mt Etna & Lunch/Wine and Godfather Tour & Taormina
These tours were two separate days. Giuliano was awesome for the Mount Etna tour and lunch. He was very knowledgeable about the area and took us through the craters which were super cool. Unfortunately, the cable cars were not running that day, so we didn’t get the chance to go to the top of Mt Etna. The lunch following the tour was really good. Bruno took us through the Godfather tour. He was a fantastic guide and a lot of fun. If you love the Godfather movies, I highly recommend this tour. When the tour was over, Bruno dropped us off in Taormino for a few hours so we could have lunch and walk around town on our own. I would highly recommend seeing Taormina because the town is beautiful with lots of great shopping and places to eat and drink.

An Offer We Couldn’t Refuse
Roberto was amazing. We appreciated that he taught us history, geography, and geology in one afternoon in Mt. Etna and the took us through Savoca and an excellent lunch in Savoca. The price of the tour well exceeded our expectations, and we recommend the tour and Roberto highly.

What a fantastic tour!
We had a fantastic day on the Etna and Godfather tour with Omar! I highly recommend this tour. Omar was a wonderful guide - so knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The car was comfortable and having our own guide enabled us to see so many sights flexibly and with ease. After pick-up from our hotel we headed to Etna and opted to take the cable car up to the top of Etna with combined bus tour. This cost €69 each but was well worth it. It did take 2 1/2 hours, so does cut into your day, so bear that in mind. After the Etna tour we headed for wine, honey, olive oil etc tastings. We then made our way to Savoca where we enjoyed a delicious lunch in a local restaurant. The meal consisted of antipasta, pasta Norma, a lemon sorbet dessert, along with wine and water. You have the choice of drinks which is all included in the price. The view was spectacular over looking Savoca. We then headed into the town for our Godfather tour. Omar knew so many facts and unknown details about the filming, and we were fascinated to hear all about the history of the Mafia in Sicily too. It was very surreal to see so many of the filming locations in person! From there we were dropped back off at the hotel. Do not hesitate booking this tour, it is worth every penny and enables you to see and learn so much about the island. Thank you again Omar!

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Package of 2 private tours in one day: Etna-Godfather with Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Taormina.
How much does Package of 2 private tours in one day: Etna-Godfather with Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $391 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Taormina usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Package of 2 private tours in one day: Etna-Godfather with Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Taormina is not rushed.
Is Package of 2 private tours in one day: Etna-Godfather with Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Taormina, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Package of 2 private tours in one day: Etna-Godfather with Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Package of 2 private tours in one day: Etna-Godfather with Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Package of 2 private tours in one day: Etna-Godfather with Lunch?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Taormina can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Taormina and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Package of 2 private tours in one day: Etna-Godfather with Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Taormina within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Taormina?
+
On Outty we rank every Taormina experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mt. Etna and Taormina village full day tour from Catania, Mount Etna Half-Day Small Group Tour from Taormina, COOKING CLASS in Taormina at Chef Massimo HOUSE!!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Taormina?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Taormina?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
