This is a private tour only for you(your group), for the out of beaten track local experience in Guangzhou. You will have a full experience of the city from a local's perspective, with the company of a knowledgeable English-speaking local guide and a private car with driver to show you around the hidden gems in Guangzhou and have the traditional Cantonese dim sum for lunch. In this tour we are not going to visit major tourist attractions, but to explore and understand local people's culture and life in the city. We will visit the pedestrian street(where locals walk and shop), grocery and vegetable market, local neighbourhood buildings, public parks and old part of Guangzhou to see how the locals spend their time in daily life. And optionally if you like you can visit a local family(a medium-class standard residential apartment in a local community) to talk and interact with the hosts(they are Cantonese opera lovers who went through the "cultural revolution" in their youth). ^_^.

Perfect day out
We had a private tour with Zack, visiting old downtown and local markets. We enjoyed every single moment. Zack takes very careful consideration in understanding what we like and don't like, resulting in efficient and well tailored day out for the group. Transfer between places is very punctual and well organized. The place for lunch chosen is clean and serves wonderful cantonese cuisine.

Flower City Tour / Guangzhou
The 7 hour tour 'flew by' so quickly as we experienced the older authentic parts of the city as well as the new. From the new library tour, to the Bhudha temple, to the Shaking hands section, to the outdoor Opera it was all so enjoyable!

A MUST WHEN VISITING GUANGZHOU
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this city with our Tour Guide and Driver, who were most informative and most accommodating. Excellent English spoken and very fortunate to have them translate for us. Took us to authentic restaurants, explained the history of the city as when we were there in was China's 70th National Day which was celebrated to the fullest extent. We originally hired Guangzhou Local Tours for 1 day but as we enjoyed their company and learnt so much from then, we hired them for a 2nd day.
