Ourika Valley
We were very well received by Abdul at first and then taken care of by Adnan, the very kind driver. The afternoon with Mohamed, our guide, also went very well. We thank SAFARI MARRAKECH and during our next trip, we will return to see them. Sylvie and Christelle

Perfect place to go to
Our trip to the Ourika Valley was absolutely incredible! The views were truly breathtaking — every stop felt like a picture-perfect moment. The service from start to finish was outstanding. The person who organised the trip was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional, making everything smooth and stress-free. Our tour guide was just as amazing — very polite, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every part of the journey. I couldn’t recommend this experience more. A perfect day out in Marrakech with exceptional service and unforgettable scenery!

Super day in ourika
At first, my friends and I were very happy with our choice to visit Morocco. Honestly, it was our first time visiting Morocco. We did not regret our choice and what increased our love for vacation in Morocco, especially Marrakech, is that we were lucky to meet Moulay Rachid who welcomed us at his agency with a smile and professionalism. We felt like we were his friends and not customers. We were chosen to spend a day in the High Atlas Mountains in Ourika. Honestly, the organization was very good and we rode a beautiful, air-conditioned and comfortable car, not to mention the professionalism of the driver who accompanied us throughout the trip and provided us with all the explanations. We visited a Berber house and saw how the first people in North Africa lived. Honestly, we felt like we were among our family with their generosity and warm welcome. We visited the Setti Fatma waterfalls. Despite the difficulty of climbing the waterfalls, the guide was very good. Honestly, without him, we would not have been able to discover the magic and beauty of this wonderful region with its people and beauty. Then we rested on the banks of the valley, had lunch, and drank mint tea to the tunes of local Amazigh music. Finally, I recommend Moulay Rachid.

It was a nice experience!!!
It was a nice experience doing such activity like trekking in the mountain. I love seeing the Berbers community and magnificent atlas mountain and pristine water falls. The food was good as well. Overall it was a must visit! Looking forward to come back.

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Ourika Valley Day Trip from Marrakech with Lunch and Guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Ourika Valley Day Trip from Marrakech with Lunch and Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ourika Valley Day Trip from Marrakech with Lunch and Guide take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Ourika Valley Day Trip from Marrakech with Lunch and Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ourika Valley Day Trip from Marrakech with Lunch and Guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ourika Valley Day Trip from Marrakech with Lunch and Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ourika Valley Day Trip from Marrakech with Lunch and Guide?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ourika Valley Day Trip from Marrakech with Lunch and Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
