    Rude driver, unorganized agency.

I chose barbaro tours, to go from Marrakesh to Ourika waterfalls. I'm disappointed, because they had told me from the agency, that they will pick us up from the hotel at 09:00, in one hour we will be in Ourika and we will be back at 20:30. Firstly in the morning they forgot us, they returned to take us at 10:00. Secondly we did an unnecessary stop in a shop, because they wanted us to buy things from a specific shop (they said we stopped for photos to cover it). We did another stop for over an hour, to show us some traditional houses and how they are making argan oil (it was nice, but the agency hadn't informed us for these stops, we lost a lot of time from the place that we wanted to go). Thirdly, it was hot in the van and there was a lot of dust from the cars in front and when I asked the driver if he can turned on the air-conditioning, he replied to me that the engine can't afford the air-conditioning and go uphill. So we travel sweating. At the end we arrived at 14:20 and we had to leave at 16:30. So we did all these hours, to stay in the place, for only 2 hours and 10 minutes. When in the return, complained at the driver, he was rude, and he even at some point, tried to persuade me that I had paid only for my self, even on the paper was writing 2pax. Really unorganized from the agency and the driver really unprofessional. If you choose this agency, ask the all the details of any trip, because at the end you will not enjoy the place that you choose, if you have a rude driver, loosing time in commercial shops and sweating without having air-conditioning at 35⁰C.

Response from the operator: First of all, I want to thank you for choosing our company and our services. I am very sorry about your feeling of disappointment that you are talking about because I find a great contradiction in your comment because it contains many fallacies. I think I understand why. Therefore, I will answer your comment point by point 1 - You mentioned that we informed you from our agency that we would pick you up from the hotel at 09:00, and within one hour you would be in Ourika and return at 20:30. This is not true, as you reviewed the timetable, and details of the flight path before booking, and if you do not wish to mention this or do not remember this, then that is up to you, and I do not allow you to insult the reputation of our company. As for forgetting, we have not forgotten about you. The process of gathering travelers from several hotels in the city requires a lot of time, and your hotel is far away. Of the city center, so you are the last of the travelers to be picked up and you were informed of this before booking. 2 - The stops at agricultural and traditional cooperatives are within the itinerary of the trip, and there are other travelers whose requirements and choice of the agreed-upon itinerary must be respected. If you wish to change the itinerary of the trip, why did you book with Jammu? We offered you a private trip and you said it was expensive and you chose the cheapest trip. I am very happy to read in your comment that the traditional homes and how they make argan oil were wonderful. Here we find the difference in your comment. 3 - It was hot in the truck and there was a lot of dust from the cars in front of you. When you asked the driver if he could run the air conditioning, he answered that the engine could not afford the air conditioning. This is a slander on your part against the driver. I investigated this matter and asked other travelers. They came with you on the same trip and I confirmed that the air conditioning was on and that everything was fine and that you did not stop making requests from the driver. The driver cannot meet your requirements alone. There are other travelers and everyone must be satisfied. In general, your opinion about this trip is yours. We have provided all the agreed-upon tour itineraries, and the rest of the travelers are satisfied with what was presented. I want to remind you that buying a plane cannot be done at the price of potatoes.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

    +
