Private shuttle from Manuel Antonio to La Fortuna

Our driver, Maynor, was great! He was very friendly and made the long trip from Manuel Antonio to La Fortuna enjoyable and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this service, especially if you don't want to drive the narrow, windy roads leading to La Fortuna.

Loved the scenic route!

We had a great experience with our private shuttle from Manuel Antonio to La Fortuna. It’s a long drive with lots of curves and mountain roads, so it can definitely feel a little scary at times, but our driver, Juan, made us feel safe the entire trip. He was professional, careful, and handled the roads really well. We really appreciated how comfortable and secure we felt during such a long drive. Highly recommend!

5 stars for a long, windy trip to Arenal!

Pedro was a fantastic driver! He was kind, thoughtful and patient with me and my daughter as we translated our best on behalf of our family. It was great practice as she’s studying Spanish in HS in the US. It was a longer trip than we may have expected with windy roads and beautiful vistas of the mountains and the ocean. Our 3 kids all struggle with car sickness and he was very helpful. He had good places to stop for clean bathrooms and great food. It was a fabulous experience with him and we were so lucky he was our driver today. Thank you Tucanes Tours for employing such great people like Pedro! 5 stars from our family.

Great driver - nice drive to La Fortuna

We hired Tucanes Tour for transport from Manuel Antonio to La Fortuna. Our driver was Pedro and he was very friendly and welcoming. The drive was about 6 hours long, and Pedro was very safe and efficient. We asked him many questions about the country on our way, and he answered the best he could. Overall I would highly recommend this company and Pedro if you need transportation from Manuel Antonio.

One-Way Private Transfer from Quepos - Manuel Antonio to La Fortuna: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quepos.

How much does One-Way Private Transfer from Quepos - Manuel Antonio to La Fortuna cost?

+

Prices start at $333 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quepos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does One-Way Private Transfer from Quepos - Manuel Antonio to La Fortuna take?

+

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quepos is not rushed.

Is One-Way Private Transfer from Quepos - Manuel Antonio to La Fortuna worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quepos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule One-Way Private Transfer from Quepos - Manuel Antonio to La Fortuna?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is One-Way Private Transfer from Quepos - Manuel Antonio to La Fortuna suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book One-Way Private Transfer from Quepos - Manuel Antonio to La Fortuna?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quepos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quepos and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does One-Way Private Transfer from Quepos - Manuel Antonio to La Fortuna start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quepos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Quepos?

+

On Outty we rank every Quepos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whitewater Rafting Savegre Class II-III plus Waterfall Manuel Antonio, Manuel Antonio Canopy Tour - Longest Twin Zip Line in Central America, Waterfall Ziplining & Canyoning. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Quepos?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Quepos?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
