I'm video satisfied with the hostility by the by the tour operator and the driver. He was very nice to support me and he was taking me everywhere for the entry ticket and so on. He was very nice. He provided actually also a good lunch. It was very nice Chinese cuisine. That's good, thank you very much. I'm very much satis

Highly recommended
Overall an excellent tour! Our guide David was patient and detailed in explaining the amazing history behind duijianyan and its strategic importance to Chengdu. The nature walk Mount Qingcheng was equally fun. Along the way, we learnt a lot about the local “Dao” customs from David (thank you for being so helpful and entertaining). The car ride from Chengdu was around an hour and relaxing enough. Highly recommend this excursion, esp with a tour guide to explain the rich history behind it all.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your evaluation of our work! Wish you a happy life!

Great scenery and mountain speedrun
Last week we visited the Irrigation System and Mt. Qingcheng. Our driver picked us up at our hotel, had already prepared some bottled water and drove us to the irrigation first. Afterwards we had some great noodle soup with our driver and he answered all our questions. In the afternoon we went to the mountain which provided us again with some beautiful scenery. Some important notes: We thought the entrance tickets to the Irrigation System were included in the price. This wasn't the case. Fortunately, our driver was kind and helped us get tickets. Entrance tickets are not included in the price, the lunch is! However, with public transport and Didi you cannot do these attractions in one day without stress. With our driver you will have a complete experience and a smooth ride! :) You have some 2 hours for the mountain, for an easy climb, you need at least 3 hours to reach the pavilion on top, we did a speedrun :p we took the cable car, these tickets are also not included. It is worth it though. Our driver could not speak English, but with translation apps such as Alipay and hand-communication it was a really easy experience. Our driver was very kind, helpful and he is a great driver. We really recommend him!!! Mr. Driver, if you read this, thank you very much again for your hospitality, kindness, and help. We had great time and enjoyed this beautiful part of your country!
Response from the operator: Hello, guest. Thank you very much for your honest feedback. I will forward your comments to our driver team! Wish you a happy life. Thank you!

The experience was great...
The experience was great with Shi Jianhua as my driver! I would recommend the tour as I covers two important sites in Qingcheng Mountain and Dujiangyan. In particular, it was great Jianhua guided me through the Dujiangyan site which was helpful on top of having an audio guide

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
One Day Trip to Dujiangyan Irrigation System & Mount QingCheng Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chengdu.
How much does One Day Trip to Dujiangyan Irrigation System & Mount QingCheng Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $82 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chengdu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does One Day Trip to Dujiangyan Irrigation System & Mount QingCheng Tour take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chengdu is not rushed.
Is One Day Trip to Dujiangyan Irrigation System & Mount QingCheng Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chengdu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule One Day Trip to Dujiangyan Irrigation System & Mount QingCheng Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is One Day Trip to Dujiangyan Irrigation System & Mount QingCheng Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book One Day Trip to Dujiangyan Irrigation System & Mount QingCheng Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chengdu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chengdu and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does One Day Trip to Dujiangyan Irrigation System & Mount QingCheng Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chengdu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Chengdu?
+
On Outty we rank every Chengdu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Chengdu Cooking Class with a Local Market Visit, Private Chengdu Day Tour: Giant Pandas and Jinsha Site Museum, Tuktuk Food Tour Through Chengdu's Local Eats. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chengdu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chengdu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
