Petra and Wadi rum were...
Petra and Wadi rum were both amazing! The guide Mohammad Ghaith was really nice and helpful and thanks to him I was able to see Petra and Wadi rum in the same day which was important for me because I’m not staying here for long.

Perfect Jordan Experience with Mohammed
Our trip in Jordan was amazing! Mohammed made everything easy and enjoyable from start to finish. He was always kind, honest, and very helpful. At every stop, he explained things clearly and showed us beautiful places we wouldn’t have found on our own. We had a great time, felt safe, and learned so much about Jordan. Thank you, Mohammed, for making our journey special it’s a trip we’ll never forget!

Amazing
We had the pleasure of spending the day with Mohamed, and we can’t recommend him highly enough. He stayed with us the entire day — from morning until we were too tired to continue — and made sure every moment was meaningful and well spent. He showed us local spots that we would have never found on our own and shared so much insightful information along the way. What really stood out was how thoughtful he was — he even took my mother shopping to buy authentic local produce from trusted places. This wasn’t your typical tourist day. Mohamed took us off the beaten path and gave us a genuine experience of the local culture and way of life. If you’re looking for a guide who’s knowledgeable, kind, and truly dedicated, Mohamed is the one. A memorable and enriching experience from start to finish.

A Heartfelt Journey Through Jordan with Mohammad
I had the pleasure of traveling to Jordan with my father, and having Mohammad with us made the experience incredibly special. From the moment we met, he welcomed us with warmth and treated us as if we were part of his own family. His kindness, patience, and sincerity stood out throughout the entire trip. Mohammad didn’t just drive us from one place to another—he shared stories, culture, and local life in a way that brought the country to life. He always made sure my father was comfortable and never let us feel like tourists. We felt completely at ease, safe, and genuinely cared for. It’s rare to meet someone who’s not only professional and reliable, but also full of heart. Mohammad made our visit unforgettable, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone planning to visit Jordan. I’d gladly travel with him again anytime.

Traveling Jordan with Mohammad is the best way to go!
My friend, Jeanne, and I traveled with Mohammad in November 2022 (none of the dates above fit so I just randomly selected one since that field was required). Mohammad was our driver and guide. At the time, Jeanne had several injuries and walked with a cane. Mohammad anticipated her every need. He was always offering a helping hand; Jeanne never had to ask for assistance. In addition to being thoughtful, Mohammad was knowledgeable and professional. His pride in his country and passion were contagious. We learned so much and wished we could have stayed longer. We were very anxious about crossing from Jordan into Israel. Mohammad described every step we’d have to take, and he stayed with us until we were out of sight. Jeanne and I have traveled overseas extensively, and we both concluded that Mohammad was one of the best drivers and guides we’ve ever had. I give him my highest recommendation and would love to have the opportunity to travel with him again.

One Day Trip Petra Wadi Rum: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amman.
How much does One Day Trip Petra Wadi Rum cost?
+
Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amman usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does One Day Trip Petra Wadi Rum take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amman is not rushed.
Is One Day Trip Petra Wadi Rum worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 29 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amman, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule One Day Trip Petra Wadi Rum?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is One Day Trip Petra Wadi Rum suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book One Day Trip Petra Wadi Rum?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amman can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amman and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does One Day Trip Petra Wadi Rum start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amman within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amman?
+
On Outty we rank every Amman experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Amman: Petra and Wadi rum Private/Group Full day Tour, From Amman :Private or Group Full day tour to Petra, Petra, Wadi Rum, Dead Sea 4 Days 3 nights. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amman?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amman?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
