What you'll see and do
Ta Prohm
One day tour itinerary: (7- 8 hours). At 7: 30 AM, transporting you to the temple complex by a Car / minivan and then, visit the spectacular Angkor Wat. During this time of the day the crowds are at a minimum letting you view this amazing structure at its most serene. Then head north to see Basei ChamKrong built in 947 AD by Harshavarman I and completed by Rajendravarman II, dedicated to Siva (Hindu) as a pyramid temple, which it has a similar plan to a Pyramid in the ancient Maya city of Tikal in around 741 AD in Central America. Then move to smiling-face Bayon temple standing right in the middle of Angkor Thom, the ancient city. Later on, visit nearby temples, Baphuon, Phimeanakas, Royal palace, Preah Palilay, terrace of elephant and terrace of leper king. Have lunch locally. After lunch break, visit jungle-clad temple of Ta Prohm. You’ll see how the tentacle-like tree roots are slowly strangling the surviving stones. It’s an evocative sight. Heading back to the hotel.

Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm half day tour
Bunleat was a great guide during our half-day tour of Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm. He took the time to explain the rich history of the place as well as the intricate wall carvings, and even showed us the best photo spots, including a beautiful sunrise at Angkor. His friendly nature and excellent English made our experience unforgettable!

Our guide Bun Leat was very knowledgeable and patient. He first provided background of Angkor Wat before showing us the various interesting places. He also show us the location and angle to take good photos of the wat. I would strongly recommend engaging him if you are visiting Angkor Wat

Perfect day at Angkor Wat
We had an amazing day at Angkor Wat and this was a bucket list destination for us. However, what made it truly special was our tour guide: Mr Bunleat! With over 10 years of experience as a guide at Angkor Wat, he is very knowledgeable about all the history and legends. We learned a lot and had fun! We were lucky enough to get his information from a couple we met in Siem Reap and they connected us with him on WhatsApp. He is an English speaking guide and communicated well through WhatsApp to plan our day. He was on time to pick us up at our hotel in an air-conditioned car with cold water for us throughout the day. If you are thinking about going to Angkor Wat we highly recommend you contact him to be your guide.

One day normal Angkor tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.
How much does One day normal Angkor tour cost?
+
Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does One day normal Angkor tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.
Is One day normal Angkor tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule One day normal Angkor tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is One day normal Angkor tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book One day normal Angkor tour?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does One day normal Angkor tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?
+
On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kampong Phluk Floating Village Tour by Boat, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap, Angkor Wat Sunrise & 3 Main Temples – Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Siem Reap?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in One day normal Angkor tour?
+
Included: Hotel drop-off; Bottled water; Professional art historian guide; In-vehicle air conditioning; and Hotel pickup. Not included: Lunch; One day ticket; and Tip if you like our service. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does One day normal Angkor tour include hotel pickup?
+

What languages is One day normal Angkor tour offered in?
+
