A thoughtful and seamless Chiang Mai day tour with Mr. Noom and Mr. Boo
AP Good at Travel (1-Day Chiang Mai customised Tour with Mr. Noom & Mr. Boo) We spent a full day in Chiang Mai with Mr. Noom from AP Good Travel, and it became one of the most memorable days of our trip. Noom is warm, thoughtful, and genuinely passionate about showing the real Chiang Mai. Throughout the day, he customised the experience around what we enjoyed — exploring the Old City, visiting significant temples, learning simple but meaningful Buddhist ideas, and enjoying local food including a delicious bowl of Khao Soi. He also arranged a peaceful one-hour river cruise, which was a perfect break in the afternoon. We later visited a refugee community of the long-neck women from Myanmar — an eye-opening experience that Noom handled with respect and clear explanation. On a lighter note, Noom helped us understand and experience Thailand’s legal cannabis culture in a responsible, safe way that matched local rules. A special highlight was Noom’s love for photography. He shared practical tips on angles, framing, and helped us take much better photos throughout the day. He provided us some of our best photos :) We also want to recognise Mr. Boo, our driver. His quiet thoughtfulness kept the entire tour flowing smoothly. He was always ready at each stop, making every transition effortless. Having him there meant we could relax completely and enjoy the day without any logistical stress. Messrs Noom and Boo make a great team — professional, kind, and easy to spend time with. We highly recommend AP Good Travel, Mr. Noom, and Mr. Boo to anyone looking for a personal, meaningful, and well-organised Chiang Mai experience. Thank you both for a wonderful day.

A Great Way to Experience Chiang Mai
An amazing trip, made better by a great tour guide (Ms Bee) and a great driver (Bo). The van was clean and spacious. Ms Bee clearly knows her stuff and was engaging and pleasant for the whole day. The restaurant she chose for lunch was very good as well. Absolutely and positively a great way to get to experience Chiang Mai!

A Comprehensive Tour of Chiang Mai
We had a great day on our tour of Chiang Mai with Gobi. We saw a lot in a fairly short time, including things we probably would not have thought to visit otherwise, like the farm house and the local market. Our guide (Gobi) was great and very knowledgeable. The tour was well paced and didn’t feel rushed. The driver and guide were very attentive, provided water and explanations. Lunch and ice cream were delicious too. All in all a great day to get a full overview of Chiang Mai.
Response from the operator: Dear Gesa, Thank you for your review. It was a pleasure taking care of you. We truly appreciate your trust and look forward to serving you again in the future. Sincerely yours, Wilawan Nerawong (Vicky)

Very enjoyable and informative trip. Excellent guide who shared his knowledge of the history and culture of Chiang Mai. Perfect combination of three temples, a delicious lunch and a relaxing boat trip back to the city. Enjoyed trying Khao Soi for the first time with our guide explaining the dish and how to add additional flavourings to our individual tastes.

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
One Day Highlight of Chiang Mai: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chiang Mai.
How much does One Day Highlight of Chiang Mai cost?
+
Prices start at $2300 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chiang Mai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does One Day Highlight of Chiang Mai take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chiang Mai is not rushed.
Is One Day Highlight of Chiang Mai worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chiang Mai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule One Day Highlight of Chiang Mai?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is One Day Highlight of Chiang Mai suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book One Day Highlight of Chiang Mai?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chiang Mai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chiang Mai and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does One Day Highlight of Chiang Mai start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chiang Mai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Chiang Mai?
+
On Outty we rank every Chiang Mai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half-Day Thai Cooking Class at Organic Farm in Chiang Mai, Full Day Thai Cooking at Farm (Chiang Mai), Thai and Akha Cooking Class in Chiang Mai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chiang Mai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
