Well organized trip to see the Terracotta Warriors.
A very nice day trip to visit the Terracotta Warriors. Most of the day will be spent traveling (about 10-12 hours at the train station, on the train, and in the car) and about 3-4 hours at the actual museum. It should be noted that you will need to navigate the train station yourself (your driver will just drop you off at the station) but the tour company provides very clear instructions on where to meet your guide and the driver for your return trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable and courteous and the time at the museum was just right for us to see all three pits and the exhibition hall. We did not feel rushed at all. It was truly marvelous to see both the scale of the site as well as the up close details of the warriors. A very memorable experience and an excellent day trip from Chengdu!
Response from the operator: Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for sharing a detailed feedback on your Terracotta Warriors day trip! We're delighted to hear that you found the experience memorable and well-organized, and that our guide's knowledge and courteous service enhanced your visit. It's great to know the museum timing felt just right for your group. We appreciate your trust and look forward to welcoming you on another adventure soon! Warm regards, China Xian Tour

An enjoyable trip to Xi'an
Excellent tour, with a unique opportunity to tour Xi'an (and specifically, to visit the wonderful Terracota Warriors). The assistance I got at all levels was superb. Nancy Liu from China Xian Tour was magnificent at arranging everything with the limited time I gave her (I'm really thankful to her for that), and Elina (the local guide and Xi'an) and the driver did an excellent job, allowing me to enjoy the highlights of Xi'an in one day. I really recommend this excursion to anybody interested in Xi'an and its famous warriors.
Response from the operator: Dear JordiJ108, Thank you for sharing your wonderful trip with us. We are very glad to hear you have enjoyed our service. We hope to serve you again soon! Best regards,

Must See Terra-Cotta Warriors!
We've been in Chengdu and unfortunately not enough time to visit beautiful Xi'an as well. But we didn't want to miss the Terra-catto Warrior. Definitely once in a lifetime experience. So thanks to the bullet train who is running from Chengdu to Xi'an since last year we took our chance and booked a 1-Day-Trip with Jasmine who was our private guide! She did a fantastic job. She is very knowledgable and her English is fantastic. As we are foodies she even took us to a local restaurant (promise, no tourist trap) afterwards and scheduled us on an earlier train back to Chengdu. All totally worth the money. If you are close to Xi'an - Terra-cotta Warrior are a must see. Comparable to the Pyramids and Machu Pichu! Take your chance and book this great 1-Day-Tour!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind review of this Xi’an tour! Your satisfaction of our travel service is what we always pursuit. We have tour service in other cities. We look forward to serving you with more wonderful journeys in the future. Best regards.

Amazing Overnight Trip
Wow I got to see so much in a sort time. I couldn’t of done this on my own. I received door to door service and the driver knew all the good places to park. Coffee my guide was very professional and went out of his way to explain the history of all the sites we visited. I got a little sick at night and he personally took me to a Chinese Medical Center. The herbal medicine worked very fast. I would highly recommend to use Xi’an tour company. They picked we up from the hotel and someone met me at each station. At night we went to the Muslim market and tried the Beef Burgers
Response from the operator: Hey Andy, Thanks for kindly recommending China Xian Tour. We are happy to know your time with us was smooth, wonderful and well-cared. That's what we always pursue to bring to our customers. Your acknowledgement would definitely encourge each of our team including drivers and the guide Coffee to do a better job in the future. Xian is a beautiful city with unique charm in history, culture and food. Welcome to Xian again! Best Regards, Sophia

Terracotta Warriors Amazing One Day Trip
This trip was awesome!!! Don’t get me wrong it was a long day of traveling (6:00am-10:00pm) but it was worth every moment!!!! The Terracotta Warriors in Xian, known as the eighth wonder of the world, is a museum to display the terra-cotta warriors and horses which were made in Tang Dynasty. They were something I learned about in grade school and I never thought I would see them for myself!! We decided 3 days before leaving for China to book this tour we were extremely impressed with how fast and professional China Xi’an Tour was in getting information to us and our tour booked!! We were pleased that our drivers and tour guide, Noble, were on time and escorted us quickly to our destinations. Noble did an amazing job providing us with the history behind the warriors and the emperor who ordered their construction. Noble speaks English very well and we had no issues understanding everything he was explaining to us. Being knowledgeable of the area and the local shops nearby Noble was able to help us purchase some gifts and we even got to meet one of the four farmers who discovered the Terracotta warriors in 1974. Noble also knew where a second of the farmers might be in the museum area and we saw him as well (no photo). The train to and from Chengdu where we were staying to Xi’an was very comfortable and I highly recommend booking first class tickets (very reasonably priced) when you book your tour as they were very comfortable, especially considering we spend 8 hours on a train that day!! I would definitely use this tour company again if and when we come back to China!!! Thank you China Xi’an Tour and Noble for a great day!!!
Response from the operator: Hi Aislinn, Many thanks for taking the time to write such a favorable comment on China Xian Tour. That’s our pleasure to organize the tour for you. We are so happy that you enjoyed the Terra-Cotta Warriors tour with our guide Noble. Noble will be very delighted to see you praised him highly. Please do not hesitate to contact us when you come back to China in the future. We will be always at your service. All the best, Sophia | China Xian Tour

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
One Day Chengdu Xian Tour by Bullet Train: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chengdu.
How much does One Day Chengdu Xian Tour by Bullet Train cost?
+
Prices start at $210 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chengdu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does One Day Chengdu Xian Tour by Bullet Train take?
+
Plan for about 14 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chengdu is not rushed.
Is One Day Chengdu Xian Tour by Bullet Train worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Chengdu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule One Day Chengdu Xian Tour by Bullet Train?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is One Day Chengdu Xian Tour by Bullet Train suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 14-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book One Day Chengdu Xian Tour by Bullet Train?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chengdu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chengdu and add a light layer if any part of the 14-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does One Day Chengdu Xian Tour by Bullet Train start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chengdu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Chengdu?
+
On Outty we rank every Chengdu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Chengdu Cooking Class with a Local Market Visit, Private Chengdu Day Tour: Giant Pandas and Jinsha Site Museum, Tuktuk Food Tour Through Chengdu's Local Eats. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chengdu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chengdu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
