Amazing tour with Swarn
We did the faith and food tour on a Saturday afternoon at the end of March with Swarn as our guide. It was an amazing way to really get into the hustle and bustle of Old Delhi. The itinerary and food was great but it was made even better by having Swarn as a guide. He was so knowledgeable about the subject matter and was able to answer all of our questions even if they diverged from the the things the tour covered. He was also very enthusiastic about the sites he was showing us and that really added to our enjoyment of it! He also safely led us through the busy crowds and we felt comfortable throughout. I couldn’t recommend this tour or Swarn more, a must book!

New Delhi Gully tour
We spent an exhilarating tour around Old Delhi with our guide, Swarn, who we just met that morning. Swarn is a very polite, articulate and engaging young man who led us on an excellent adventure around the gully quarter of Old Delhi. Starting with a practical and interesting opportunity to have a go at calligraphy in the old Urdu style we visited the Grand Mosque. Afterwards we visited three gullies, or narrow streets, where the locals ply their trade in anything and everything. The spice market was less than usual due to our visit the day before Holi but nevertheless the sense of history and life was laid out for us to experience. Swarn was a very knowledgeable guide and we would certainly recommend him to anyone wishing to have a memorable visit to this place

Great Old Delhi experience
Great balance between the various faiths and the food giving a real feel for old Delhi and the myriad of small lanes. You could not achieve this on your own and our guide Swarn was very good taking care of our group as well as being very knowledgeable.

Faith and food tour in Delhi with Swarn.
We had a wonderful time on the faith and food tour in Delhi. We would highly recommend. It was interesting, informative and fun. Swarm was the perfect tour guide. He really brought every stop to life with insights and stories whilst answering any questions we had. Swarm took us to excellent street food pit stops along the way, each one was absolutely delicious.

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Old Delhi Morning - Fun, Food & Faith all inclusive private tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does Old Delhi Morning - Fun, Food & Faith all inclusive private tour cost?
+
Prices start at $3400 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Old Delhi Morning - Fun, Food & Faith all inclusive private tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is Old Delhi Morning - Fun, Food & Faith all inclusive private tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 57 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Old Delhi Morning - Fun, Food & Faith all inclusive private tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Old Delhi Morning - Fun, Food & Faith all inclusive private tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Old Delhi Morning - Fun, Food & Faith all inclusive private tour?
+
Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Old Delhi Morning - Fun, Food & Faith all inclusive private tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
