Amazing old Delhi tour
Arpit was an extremely friendly and knowledgeable guide. He explained in depth the religious temples we visited. Beyond his local knowledge of the culture and food stops, Arpit made us feel much more confident to navigate Delhi by recommending the metro to us and showing us how to buy tickets. He went above and beyond by recommending activities and restaurants for the following afternoon and day we were in Dehli. I cannot recommend more highly!

An amazing experience
We have been on many walking tours of cities around the world. We thoroughly enjoyed Stanley’s tour of Delhi. He was thorough in his explanations and ensured we would ask lots of questions. We visited parts of the city we would probably never see as a tourist. We even got to try some local Indian bites to eat! He also extended his help in giving us a dinner recommendation and how to get home. Would definitely recommend to anyone else visiting the city.

A fabulous 3 days with Aman & co.
I just returned from Delhi after visiting June 2–4, where I joined my husband on a work trip. With only 3 days and 2 nights in the city, I wanted to make the most of our limited time. Aman helped coordinate an incredible 3-day itinerary that included Old Delhi, New Delhi, and the Taj Mahal in Agra. Without his guidance, we would never have had such an amazing introduction to India. We love taking tours when we travel, and this was truly one of the best we’ve experienced. We learned so much about the culture, history, and daily life of the people who live there. Aman also introduced us to fantastic local food in a safe way, helping us avoid what he jokingly called “Delhi Belly.” Throughout the trip, we felt completely safe and were able to relax and enjoy ourselves - a welcome change from constantly planning and navigating on our own. Everything was well organized, from transportation to pickup times, and Aman was always easy to communicate with. He was knowledgeable, engaging, fun to spend time with, and took great photos for us along the way. What stood out most was how kind and respectful he was to everyone we met. A special thank you as well to Stanley, one of Aman’s guides, who helped make our experience so memorable, and to Nilesh, the most incredible driver! Navigating the busy streets of India is no small feat, but he handled it like a true professional and always made us feel safe and comfortable. Aman is an entrepreneurial young man who is clearly passionate about what he does, and I’m happy to support his growing business by sharing my experience here. I would not hesitate to book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone visiting India🇮🇳

Why this scores 82
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Old Delhi Odyssey: A Tour of Religion, Spice Market, & Best Food: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does Old Delhi Odyssey: A Tour of Religion, Spice Market, & Best Food cost?
+
Prices start at $2000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Old Delhi Odyssey: A Tour of Religion, Spice Market, & Best Food take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is Old Delhi Odyssey: A Tour of Religion, Spice Market, & Best Food worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 335 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Old Delhi Odyssey: A Tour of Religion, Spice Market, & Best Food?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Old Delhi Odyssey: A Tour of Religion, Spice Market, & Best Food suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Old Delhi Odyssey: A Tour of Religion, Spice Market, & Best Food?
+
Around 117 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Old Delhi Odyssey: A Tour of Religion, Spice Market, & Best Food start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
