Long walks, beautiful animals
Be prepared to walk. And I mean WALK. Long pathways, luckily good seating places with shade and many drinkomats. Food places are sparse. There's no good signs inside of where you're going and maps are few on the way. Picture of the map doesn't help much. Elephants are friendly and silly and a metre away, some birds just by your feet. Other has glass between us, still beautiful. Animals have food, pools, shade and their own activities taken care of. Very nice and clean place <3

Great zoo
We really enjoyed our visit to this zoo. A huge variety of different animals spread across quite a large area for each animal species to roam. We got at least 3 hours out of our experience. We throughly the staff and animal show of the vultures and other birds. Very informative. It’s great for adults and children. Plenty of space so it wasn’t crowded and there were a few restaurants if you wanted to eat. The price is pretty good for the experience you get and the bird show was free. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the huge birds enclosure, it had waterfalls and trees: loads of different bird species. The elephants did look a little sad but they did have a huge space to roam. We loved it and would definitely come back if we visit Benidorm again.

Great Zoo
We got entry to this park through our stay @ Magic Pirate Island as it was included. We had a great time, but more places could be open to eat/get a drink as it’s a large park. The elephants were stressed on our visit going from side to side & I feel some animals should have more space like the jaguar & panther but perhaps is a reason why some of the enclosures are so small. Lots to see & the bird show was great. Would highly recommend but is a lot of walking. 2 adults & 2 kids & we really enjoyed it. They don’t let you take your own photos with birds, snake, parrot, owl etc & they watch you/have security. Photos are €8 each

Starved tiger
Everything was ok until we got to the big cats. The lions had no water to cool in and play in. And as for the tiger - it was skin and bone the poor thing looked starved snd our kids left feeling extremely upset.

En el caso de los tigres, su constitución física puede variar según la edad, la época del año o las características propias de cada ejemplar, sin que ello implique un problema de salud. Asimismo, todas las instalaciones disponen de zonas de agua, sombra y enriquecimiento adaptadas a las necesidades de cada especie, aunque en determinados momentos puedan no ser visibles desde todos los puntos del recorrido. Disability issue's
I would like people of disability to listen up ! If your going on holiday , it is really useful to take your blue disability card with you. My husband is wheelchair bound and buying the tickets ( discount ) she did almost refuse us , even though my husband was obviously disabled and in his wheelchair asked for blue card , which we didn't take , but she did relent after asking her manager as he's obviously disabled, so would've been alot easier with the card , also they do electric mobility scooters 33 Euro without card but 15 Euro with so again quite a saving with the card, it did make our visit much more relaxed so more enjoyable as without the scooter it would've been quite exhausting as like alot of zoos although wheelchair accessible its still very up and down and some steep slopes. We enjoyed our time here but do think it could do with a little face lift as does look a little tired in some places the animals look well looked after though and happy which of course is the most important part, they do time slotted shows to bring awareness of the animals, habitat and world wide standings. Overall we enjoyed ourselves but again remember to take blue badge on holiday to help save money and making life easier.
