About this experience
Our star excursion! Beautiful kayak route in which we head to the Cova Tallada sailing through the crystal clear waters of the Cap de Sant Antoni Marine Reserve. Once in the cave there is a guided walking tour of the interior with lanterns. Then, after a small lunch, we will enjoy snorkeling in the natural pool next to the cave entrance. Finally we return in our kayaks to the same cove from which this fun experience began. Aventura Pata Negra is a company authorized by the Montgó Natural Park to access the Cova Tallada. Our certified guides with many years of experience will make each of the participants enjoy this exciting activity in a safe and controlled manner. And also, learn a little about the history, fauna and anecdotes of the area. It is an affordable excursion for anyone, even without previous rowing experience. The only essential requirement: knowing how to swim.

Fantastic kayak trip
Fantastic kayak trip. Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about marine life and local history. His tour through the cave was fascinating. Snacks of fresh fruit and pastries were provided. It was a great experience and I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

🤩 ⸻ 🇬🇧 English This was our first time kayaking, so we were both excited and a little nervous about whether we would manage it. Our guide explained everything really well before we started, showing us how to get into the kayak and how to paddle while we were still on land. The kayaks were very stable and much easier to paddle than we expected. During the tour we stopped several times while our guide shared interesting stories about the area. We paddled into a cave where we had a guided visit, enjoyed some food, took lots of great photos, and even got to snorkel with fish before paddling back. Our guide was funny, friendly, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was an amazing trip for both adults and children. We highly recommend this tour! Thank you for an unforgettable experience! 🤩

Looking for a 'real' Sea Kayaking experience. Look no further than Aventura Pata Negra
I have had the pleasure of using Samuel / Aventura Pata Negra several times and they are fantastic. They are one of the few "Kayak" tour operators that actually have real Sea Kayaks! (Sit 'in' rather than those you sit 'On' for the snorkel brigade). But, yes, he has snorkels as well, and torches for the darker caves! If you have a little bit of experience, Samuel will take you a dozen kilometres around different stretch of the Costa Blanca coastline (the rocky bits!). Unforgettable experiences. Samuel knows everything about this coastline and so is, first, very safe but also a consummate professional with his guiding knowledge and expertise. Every cave and/or landmark is explored (conditions permitting). And then he'll produce a great snack lunch too before paddling back to the launch point. I use to suggest that his kayaks were 'OK' rather then 'Good' but on this most recent trip several of the Kayaks we used were Excellent. So, full marks. Well deserved. I'm already booking our fifth trip with him for later in the year.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review Richard!! As you know I'm always so happy to share my tours with real sea kayakers like you!! See you soon!!

Kayak and snorkel excursion to Cova Tallada: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Benidorm.
How much does Kayak and snorkel excursion to Cova Tallada cost?
+
Prices start at $68 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Benidorm usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Kayak and snorkel excursion to Cova Tallada take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Benidorm is not rushed.
Is Kayak and snorkel excursion to Cova Tallada worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 92 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 530 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Benidorm, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule Kayak and snorkel excursion to Cova Tallada?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Kayak and snorkel excursion to Cova Tallada suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Kayak and snorkel excursion to Cova Tallada?
+
Around 186 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Benidorm can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Benidorm and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Kayak and snorkel excursion to Cova Tallada start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Benidorm within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Benidorm?
+
On Outty we rank every Benidorm experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Benidorm Bike Tour with Hotel Pick up, Entrance to the Motor Museum, Costa Blanca Full-Day Off Road Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Benidorm?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Benidorm?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
