Unreliable transportation and run down ATV’s
We had a long wait waiting for vehicles to transport us to the ATV experience, at least an hour. Then they didn’t have enough vehicles for our group, so my husband had to drive one of the cars. They then switched the order and we did beach first which was fine but not optimal. When we got to the ATV experience we had 20 people and there were only 11 ATVs. We had to split into 2 groups which made us uncomfortably late to get back to our ship, only 12 minutes before required boarding time. While on the ATVs, the front wheel of my so sons was hanging on with 1 lug nut, almost lost the wheel. Another rider had a chain break. We also were on dusty trails and didn’t have protective goggles or face masks making it really hard to see and uncomfortable. I have to say the tour guides were sooo nice and really tried to overcome the obstacles, but in the end… we had too many allowed to do the excursion which created transportation issues and ATV availability issues; and I honestly thought we might miss our cruise. The tour started at 9:45 and our all aboard was 4:00pm. The actual ATV ride was about 20 minutes of that.
Response from the operator: Dear Customer, We are very sorry that your experience was not what you expected. Unfortunately, it was a complicated day in which two boats arrived late, and we had to wait for other customers. The entire operation and logistics were severely affected. Please let us know if you return to the island so we can offer you some form of compensation. My sincerest apologies. Eliot Reyes

Jorge was a great guide. ...
Jorge was a great guide. There was a mix up with the booking where we wanted all singles but they assigned doubles. The actual tour and the tasting were great. It rained some so the trail riding was fun our family. We enjoyed the wet conditions. The transport to the excursion was sketchy. U was asked if I drove and then drove the second car. With another family that we picked up on the way.
Response from the operator: Hello James, Thanks for your comments as we always consider this feed back very important to inprove our service. Nevetheless it is not specified in the booking that you will have single ATV as ths depends on availability and as you know you were with us during the highest week of the year. We are sorry but there´s no price for singles or doubles. Hope to see you back soon Sincerely Eliot Reyes

The experience with my guide Pedro Sosa was the best, super friendly, attentive, explained everything and let us unwind to explore. I highly recommend it and the next time I return to Cozumel I will look again for more tours. I leave happy and happy with this tour.
Response from the operator: Estimada huésped. Le agradecemos haberse tomado el tiempo de enviarnos un comentario tan agradable sobre nuestro servicio y en particular sobre el guia PEDRO a quien le haremos saber lo felices que estuvieron con su tour Esperamos verlos pronto. Saludos Alejandra Green

Gizmo was a great tour...
Gizmo was a great tour guide. He was very personable. He told us interesting information about the culture of the Mayan people. He made sure that we got pictures of ourselves at the stop we made along the way. My only complaint is that the ATVs were extremely difficult to steer. I have been on other ATV excursions on the other islands and I’ve never driven an ATV that was so hard to steer. I don’t know if yours are older, but I would recommend you get better ATVs.
Response from the operator: Dear guest, Thanks for taking your time in sending such a wonderfull review about GIZMO who indeed is amazing. We will let him know how happy you were with his service and we really hope to see you back soon. Safe travels, Alejandra Green

A day in Cozumel
Had a blast with 4 wheelers. It was a beautiful ride. The water park was nice but the food was a bit overpriced. Overall a good experience. And had a great tour guide!
Response from the operator: Dear guest, Thanks for taking your time in sending such a wonderfull review We really hope to see you back soon. Safe travels, Alejandra Green,

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Off road ATV and Beach Club with Aqua Park: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.
How much does Off road ATV and Beach Club with Aqua Park cost?
+
Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Off road ATV and Beach Club with Aqua Park take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.
Is Off road ATV and Beach Club with Aqua Park worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Off road ATV and Beach Club with Aqua Park?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Off road ATV and Beach Club with Aqua Park suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Off road ATV and Beach Club with Aqua Park?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Off road ATV and Beach Club with Aqua Park start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cozumel?
+
On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cozumel?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cozumel?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
