A great way to spend the day in Oaxaca!

We loved our experience with Oaxaca Cool tours. They were responsive, friendly, and respectful of our time. No pressure to rush through things, like the artisan shops. We were able to explore Monte Albán at our own pace before meeting back up with our guide and continuing on to the two different craft towns. Also, our tour was a small group, which was ideal. It was just the vibe we were going for. We learned so much from the artists in each studio and are so grateful for the experience!

Our tour operator for Oaxaca Cultural Day: Monte Alban + Traditional Craft Villages cancelled on us the night before the tour. We're so disappointed with TripAdvisor for recommending a tour operator that is uncommitted and takes no responsibility.

Response from the operator: We’re truly sorry for the disappointment caused by the last minute cancellation of your tour. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to meet the minimum number of participants required to run the experience on that day, and we understand how frustrating it is to receive that news the night before. We always do our best to notify our guests as early as possible and offer either a rescheduled date or a full refund, but we recognize that this still disrupted your plans and for that, we sincerely apologize. We take full responsibility and are actively working on improving how we communicate these situations in the future. If your travel plans bring you back to Oaxaca, we’d love the chance to make it up to you with a special discount or custom experience. Please feel free to contact us. Thank you again for your feedback it helps us improve.

    An amazing day!

What an incredible adventure! The pyramids at Monte Alban have been on my bucket list for quite some time, and it didn't dissappoint! It was a smaller group which made it much more personal, and we even made new friends! Our guides Santiago and Kerenn were so friendly, and made us feel right at home. As an artist it was really inspiring to see how the clay pots and Alebrijes were made in their traditional methods (& with natural ingredients from the area!) We had some delicious Oaxacan food, saw some great views, and just had a really fun time that didn't feel like your classic tourist excursion. I highly recommend Oaxacool. Looking forward to trying their other tours next time I visit Mexico! :)
