Nice tour - horrible guidev
The tour covered a lot of ground and we saw nice sights. That was the positive side. The tour guide, Rob, was a different story. I’ve done dozens of tours like this and have never written a bad review … until today. He talked 110% of the time, he NEVER stopped talking for 10 hours, I mean never. He told us about his surfing, the movies he was in, the car he was working on, where he used to work, how he wants to be a stand up comedian, about his dog, how smart he was, what a good guide he was, and who knows what else. He would make attempts at jokes, which were horrible, then burst out into an obnoxious laugh, and then say, “am I funny?” That happened at least 15 times. At least six times he mentioned tips, even suggesting $20 per person. Many times he suggested we review the tour and give him a 5 star rating. He further said if “you can’t give a five star review, don’t post one.” After two hours, I wanted to scream! From a safety standpoint, he held the microphone in his hand all day, driving with one hand. Many times he used his other hand to point leaving no hands on the steering wheel. A headset should have been used from a safety standpoint. He was horrible and by far the worst guide I’ve ever had. His comments were highly unprofessional. We tried to tune him out but that was impossible. We wanted to hear about Hawaii, not his personal life and horrible, obnoxious commentary.

You get to see a lot of...
You get to see a lot of the Island and you get to experience things you might have missed otherwise. You learn some history, take in some sights, taste local cuisine without the hassle of parking. Henry was our guide and we enjoyed him very much!

Never Picked Me Up
Very disappointing experience. I was never picked up, and no proper solution was provided. I wasted my time waiting for a service that never showed up. I would not recommend this service.
Response from the operator: First off, you have to communicate if you are not sure where to meet the bus and the time of pick up. We can't hold the bus for too long if you are Not there when scheduled to be.

Worst experience ever!
Please save your money and don’t get in the bus with Rob!! Read the reviews about him truly before you decide to waste money!!!
Response from the operator: I'm very sorry that your experience wasn't up to your expectations. It sounds like you had something against our driver prior to your trip, and refused to absorb the knowledge that was provided. Again, deepest apologies.

Good value but rather go...
Good value but rather go to less places and spend more time at each - ex: the Dole plantation, could spend more time there and either ride the train or do the maze or enjoy the shopping. Did not need to stop by the coffee place at the end. The location for snorkeling was not great. Would be fun to stop and do some interactive activities. The van was very hot after lunch.

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Oahu: All Day Circle Island Tour with Snorkeling: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Honolulu.
How much does Oahu: All Day Circle Island Tour with Snorkeling cost?
+
Prices start at $72 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Honolulu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Oahu: All Day Circle Island Tour with Snorkeling take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Honolulu is not rushed.
Is Oahu: All Day Circle Island Tour with Snorkeling worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 275 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Honolulu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Oahu: All Day Circle Island Tour with Snorkeling?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Oahu: All Day Circle Island Tour with Snorkeling suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Oahu: All Day Circle Island Tour with Snorkeling?
+
Around 96 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Honolulu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Honolulu and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Oahu: All Day Circle Island Tour with Snorkeling start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Honolulu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Honolulu?
+
Honolulu and greater Oahu run on early starts. Pearl Harbor memorial tickets release on a fixed schedule, the North Shore circle-island loop needs a full day, and the catamaran and snorkel runs off Waikiki fill fast in season. We rank on whether the operator secures Pearl Harbor entry themselves and how tight the circle-island itinerary really is. On Outty we rank every Honolulu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oahu: North Shore Tour with Waimea Waterfall, Pearl Harbor City Tour, Ultimate Pearl Harbor Circle Island. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Honolulu?
+
April to June and September to November, between the wet season and peak crowds. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Honolulu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Oahu: All Day Circle Island Tour with Snorkeling?
+
Included: Use of snorkeling equipment. Not included: Lunch; and Towel. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does Oahu: All Day Circle Island Tour with Snorkeling include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 9 listed pickup locations in and around Honolulu. Be ready about 30 minutes before the start time.
What languages is Oahu: All Day Circle Island Tour with Snorkeling offered in?
+
It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
