In January 1925, an outbreak of diphtheria threatened the population of the town of Nome, Alaska. Weather conditions prevented the transport of vaccines from Anchorage by plane. A relay of dog-sled teams and mushers provided the only alternative.

Strawberry Fields is a memorial to the British rock musician and peace activist John Lennon (1940–1980). It also includes the Imagine mosaic, where many come to pay tribute to Lennon. The memorial’s name is a reference to the 1967 song Lennon wrote and performed with the Beatles, “Strawberry Fields Forever.”

The Dakota
The Dakota occupies the western side of Central Park West between 72nd and 73rd streets. It is largely square in plan and built around a central H-shaped courtyard, through which all apartments are accessed. According to a 1996 article in New York magazine, many brokers classified the Dakota as one of five top-tier apartment buildings on Central Park West, largely because of its residents, large scale, and "historical prestige".

Tavern on the Green, the restaurant located in the historic building once known as the Sheepfold, has been a destination for fine dining in Central Park since the 1930s. The restaurant recently underwent a years-long renovation during which some of its many additions were removed to expose more of the original structure and provide more variety of dining options. Tavern on the Green reopened in 2014.

A great way to see Central Park!
Straight forward booking system and easy to find. Good communication throughout, had the choice to reschedule due to forecast but we decided to go ahead with our original booking. It's a great way to see Central Park and this was one of the highlights of our trip! Ibrahim was friendly and knowledgeable. He showed us video clips of the areas in the park that had been used in films and explained what the buildings along the outsides of the park were and who they belonged too! An interesting hour wished it was longer. Thankyou Ibrahim and Central Park Attractions!

Great way to get an overview of Central Park.
Se enjoyed a one hour pedicab tour with Barry. Very enjoyable. He was very personable and gave us the history of the park, info on nearby buildings, and pointed out areas where various movies were shot. $30 each for an hour.

Amazing guided tour with Ali
Booked this trip whilst already on holiday as had seen great reviews on Facebook. We had ALI and his colleague for our 4 person guide. He was brilliant! So funny, knowledgeable and friendly. We loved this tour and would defo recommend to anyone. Really good value for money and he made us feel very welcome. Ali took some amazing pictures of us as a family. We saw parts of Central Park I’d never seen before so it was a great way to get about the Park.

We had such fun on a snowy Sunday morning in Central Park. It was magical . Our guide was so informative and great communicator and very funny . Really great way to see the park when you are in a tight schedule . We loved the early morning at 8 trip

A highlight of our trip
Barry and the 2 other guides (we had 3 pedicabs) were so fun and helpful. Our one hour tour included interesting historical information about the park and surroundings, stops at different movie scenes, and lots of photo stops where Barry was our photographer! Will definitely book again!
