Excellent Tour of Notre Dame
Anthony was a great tour guide. He was knowledgeable and articulate in explaining various points of interest. He told us about two additional events happening in the cathedral later in the day which was very helpful. We appreciated the tour access to the cathedral because it meant avoiding the long line to get into the church.
Response from the operator: Thank you, Colleen! We're so glad Anthony's clarity and knowledge made the visit so engaging, and that tip about later events in the cathedral is exactly the kind of extra insight that comes from a guide who really knows the place inside out. We'll be sure to pass this along to him. We hope you had a wonderful stay here in Paris!

Amazing Notre Dame
Our party of five had a really excellent tour of Notre Dame on Wednesday 20 May and which included the history of the Isle and the adjacent south and North banks of the Seine. Stan, our guide, could not have been more interesting and helpful. His excellent English helped us to understand the complex history of Paris and France and his enthusiasm for and knowledge of his subject could not have been bettered. We felt very privileged to have had Stan with us for this guided tour. We were, of course, incredibly impressed with what has been accomplished at Notre Dame. For France this was an almost impossible dream when started and to have completed the work in such a comprehensive way in such a short time must be one of the major world achievements of our time. Please pass on to Stan our very best wishes and thanks. You might also tell him that we took his advice and visited a very atmospheric creperie where the buckwheat crepes were magnificent.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this, Terry — what a lovely account of your day. Stan's passion for the history of the Île and the surrounding banks genuinely comes through in every tour he gives, and we'll absolutely pass on your kind words and best wishes to him. The reconstruction really has been an extraordinary achievement, especially given the scale and timeline, and it's wonderful that guests get to experience it so soon after reopening. And we're delighted the creperie recommendation didn't disappoint — that's exactly the kind of local touch a small-group tour like this one allows for. Thank you again for sharing such a thoughtful review.

Notre Dame in all her glory!
A must see! Knowledgeable guide! Some questions were not able to be answered and a bit hurried! Thank you France for restoring this treasure!
Response from the operator: Hello Susan, Thank you for the stars and the feedback, which we will look into. We care about your time here in Paris and want to provide a top-notch experience. We do love questions, and welcome them as they help us to shape that experience to your particular frame of reference and your specific interests. Nevertheless it can happen that even with the many years of study required to be a Memories guide and all their expertise, there are simply some unknowables when dealing with the deep past. We do promise to deliver the knowable, whether about Gothic architecture or the cathedral’s restoration, with passion and style and a human touch into the bargain. It is a joy and an honor. Thank you again for letting us know!

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Notre Dame Cathedral Small-Group Interior & Exterior Guided Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.
How much does Notre Dame Cathedral Small-Group Interior & Exterior Guided Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $86 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Notre Dame Cathedral Small-Group Interior & Exterior Guided Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.
Is Notre Dame Cathedral Small-Group Interior & Exterior Guided Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Notre Dame Cathedral Small-Group Interior & Exterior Guided Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Notre Dame Cathedral Small-Group Interior & Exterior Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Notre Dame Cathedral Small-Group Interior & Exterior Guided Tour?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 1.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Notre Dame Cathedral Small-Group Interior & Exterior Guided Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Paris?
+
Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Paris?
+
April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Paris?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
