I think it is an...
I think it is an extraordinary gift when a guide can set such a positive tone for a trip. Zoltan was phenomenal. For each location, he oriented us to the history and culture. He showed us the highlights, but then we were free to wander areas for a designated time. Time at some locations was fairly brief, but that allowed us to pack in so much. My 15 and 20 year old history enthusiasts appreciated Zoltan's passion for history. We always knew the best places to eat (especially ice cream), where to find the cleanest toilet, and how to make the most of our designated time. I wish we had availability to continue on the three day tour, but so grateful we made. time for the two day tour. I cannot imagine trying to do this in one day. Mont Saint-Michel has been described as DisneyLand - there is much truth to that - but we would brave the crowds for the glorious view from the top of the abbey. Rouen Cathedral was beautiful, as were the Rouen ducks. Honfleur was packed, but we wandered side streets. And the Normandy beaches and tour of the cemetary were a somber reminder of gratitude owed to those who sacrificed so much. Thank you, Zoltan - and Charlie for your mad driving skills.

Great trip. Extremely knowledgeable guide. We have done the 1 Day Normandy/Beaches trip in the past. The 2 Day trip was so much better. Not rushed and you got to see Britany. The city of Saint-Malo was amazing, it ended up being the highlight of the tour.

Not to miss Highlights of Normandy and Brittany!!
This itinerary covers it all. Our guide Marie was very knowledgeable and presented a lot of material in an orderly and enjoyable manner. Although there is a lot of road time Marie helped it go by quickly.
Response from the operator: Dear Alan, Thank you so much for your comment! We’re glad to know your trip to Normandy went so well thanks to Marie! We truly value our team of professionals, and your kind words are a testament to the exceptional service they strive to deliver! Kind regards, Extime Travel (formerly Paris City Vision)

2-day version is wonderful
This was a really great trip. If you get Florence as your guide, count yourself lucky. She is great. Very knowledgable, very droll sense of humor. Had originally considered doing the single day to Normandy and back version of this trip but glad we didn't. That seems like it would be trying to cram too much in and also you'd miss most of the other things included in the 2 day. Hotel was great, too.
Response from the operator: Dear Patrick, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are so glad to hear that your two-day trip to Normandy went so well! We are also delighted to know that our guide Florence played a key role in making your experience truly memorable! We look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Great experience combining convenient travel, wonderful sight-seeing and moving history
I really enjoyed the trip - our guide Marie was knowledgeable, humorous and friendly, and she made a big effort to include both the English and Spanish speakers with equal time. With a smallish group of only 15 it was easy to manage the timing of a very tight itinerary - so we didn't lose anytime waiting for latecomers or trying to keep everyone herded together. The sight-seeing elements were incredible - from picturesque St Malo to stunning St Michel, the quaint port of Honfleur and the jaw-dropping history of Rouen. I really enjoyed Marie's insight into their historical contexts as well. Some members of our group didn't stay with her and drifted off to do their own thing (dining and shopping) - each to their own, but I feel they really missed out on a deeper layer of understanding of the locations we visited. So my recommendation would be to stick with the guide rather than taking extra free time on your own. The experience of the Omaha Beach memorial and American cemetery was incredibly moving and sobering - I will never forget it. But a note that if you are wanting lots of in-depth info on WW2 history and details on D-Day, then I would suggest rather do it on your own (self-drive) or choosing a solely war-focused tour, as the packed itinerary did not allow for enough time to visit the museums at the American cemetery and Avromanche, which would have been nice. But if you want a broad overview, an opportunity to pay respects and the moving experience of the cemetery and beach itself, you will be fine. If you are looking to experience the beauty of the Normandy countryside and coastline, some sight-seeing and a bit of history, this tour is a great way to do it, without the hassle of sorting out your own transport. I found the bus comfortable and the drive easy, the overnight stay was in a decent hotel with a pleasant dinner and breakfast, and the communication around the logistics was good. My only criticism was that the additional payment of a single supplement was not well disclosed - it was hidden quite far down a list of "additional info" when it should have been mentioned upfront upon booking, to give a true reflection of the price.
Response from the operator: Dear Philippa, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We’re thrilled to hear that you loved your Normandy 2-Day Trip and that you were satisfied with both your guide and the transportation arrangements—this truly means a lot to our team! We also appreciate you pointing out the mention of the single supplement fee. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we’ll be sure to share it with the relevant team as we’re always looking for ways to improve our services. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again on another experience soon! Warm regards, Paris City Vision

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Normandy 2Days Trip Landing Beaches and Mont St Michel from Paris: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.
How much does Normandy 2Days Trip Landing Beaches and Mont St Michel from Paris cost?
+
Prices start at $557 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Normandy 2Days Trip Landing Beaches and Mont St Michel from Paris take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.
Is Normandy 2Days Trip Landing Beaches and Mont St Michel from Paris worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 231 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Normandy 2Days Trip Landing Beaches and Mont St Michel from Paris?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Normandy 2Days Trip Landing Beaches and Mont St Michel from Paris suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Normandy 2Days Trip Landing Beaches and Mont St Michel from Paris?
+
Around 81 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Normandy 2Days Trip Landing Beaches and Mont St Michel from Paris start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Paris?
+
Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Paris?
+
April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Paris?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
