A fun way to see Rome!
Such a fun way to see Rome. The guide was fantastic as was the second driver. While there was some confusion about tickets so we started late they did not cut the tour short. They wanted to ensure we saw it all…and we did. I highly recommend!

Not good value for money
Driver was sick and could not hear the commentary.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. I’d just like to add some context. I was already sick the night before and was taking antibiotics, but I hoped I would feel better by the morning. Unfortunately, I didn’t, and by the time I realized I wasn’t well enough, it was only a few hours before the tour. I decided to go ahead because I didn’t want to cancel at the last minute and leave people on vacation without their evening tour. I had a very sore throat and struggled to talk as much as usual, but I still made the effort to show up and give the tour. In hindsight, I probably should have cancelled. I understand now that trying to honour the booking despite being sick did not allow me to provide the experience I normally would. It’s certainly a lesson for the future.

Driver was very informative but some areas were not well lit and made difficult to see also tour was just too long.

The tour duration is clearly stated in the description as 2.5–3 hours, and your tour lasted approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes, so it was within the advertised duration. With seven guests on the tour, I cannot shorten the experience simply because one or two guests would have preferred a shorter tour. Regarding the lighting, Rome occasionally has temporary works or maintenance affecting the illumination of certain monuments. Unfortunately, this is outside our control. We choose a night tour because it generally means fewer crowds, cooler temperatures, and a much more pleasant atmosphere. The Trevi Fountain, for example, can be enjoyed at night without the daytime crowds or entrance fee.
