You can walk to the observation deck or take an elevator to get closer to the base of the falls. If you book a tour through a 3rd party make sure they are not booking you with {Amigo tours. Make sure the tour is with another group. Their communication and service is horrible

BEWARE - Don’t do this tour
The bus refused to let us on because we arrived late. Beware of this tour company “Amigo Tours”. They will not help you and will not let you board if you don’t arrive early. Now they are refusing to refund me either. I’m a travel agent and will ensure to never book my clients on this tour again. We ended up visiting the national park on our own and it was so easy and affordable. Highly recommend going in your own and enjoying a whole day at your pace!
