Wonderful Day at Mt. Fuji Thanks to Mizuho! - Simply The Best
We had a fantastic day visiting Mt. Fuji and Hakone, and I really wanted to give a special shoutout to our guide, Mizuho! What a wonderful person! She was so friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely fun to spend the day with. She made everyone feel welcome and did a great job keeping everything organized throughout a very busy day. We’ve taken tours all over the world, and I can tell you that having the right guide makes all the difference. Mizuho was one of the best! I really hope her management sees this review because she deserves recognition and opportunities to move up in the company. She’s exactly the kind of person you want representing your business. Thanks again, Mizuho! We had a great time and really appreciated everything you did for us! We definitely are bringing friends back here.

Mount Fuji
Actually got a glimpse of the top of the mountain, so that was worth it. The cable ride and boat tour were an added bonus. YUTA was an excellent guide and provided a lot of cultural information.

Solid general day tour to Mt. Fuji & Hakone
This was overall a good general day tour to Mt. Fuji and the surrounding area. Note: try to book this tour on a clear sky day if you can… seeing Mt. Fuji or not will make the difference on this tour. Luckily, we did this tour on a relatively clear sky day and got to see Fuji. The tour started when we met our guide, Aki, at 7:50 am at the meet up point in Shinjuku. We visited the Mt. Fuji 5th Station first, then did the cable car ride on the Hakone Ropeway, then we did a cruise on Lake Ashi, and then we went back to Odawara Station to take the bullet train back to Tokyo after 5 pm, getting back by 5:45-6 pm latest. It was a good day tour once again and Aki did a fantastic job leading us on this day so a big thank you to her! Don’t hesitate to book this tour, I recommend it! - Nolan

Mt Fuji and Hakone 1-Day Bus Tour Return by Bullet Train: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ginza.
How much does Mt Fuji and Hakone 1-Day Bus Tour Return by Bullet Train cost?
+
Prices start at $161 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ginza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mt Fuji and Hakone 1-Day Bus Tour Return by Bullet Train take?
+
Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ginza is not rushed.
Is Mt Fuji and Hakone 1-Day Bus Tour Return by Bullet Train worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 90 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 33,017 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Ginza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mt Fuji and Hakone 1-Day Bus Tour Return by Bullet Train?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mt Fuji and Hakone 1-Day Bus Tour Return by Bullet Train suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mt Fuji and Hakone 1-Day Bus Tour Return by Bullet Train?
+
Around 11,556 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ginza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ginza and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mt Fuji and Hakone 1-Day Bus Tour Return by Bullet Train start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ginza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ginza?
+
On Outty we rank every Ginza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 1-Day Tokyo Bus Tour, Private Tour to Mt. Fuji/or hakone (Fully Licensed Operator), Nikko, Kegon Waterfall & Chuzenji Lake from Tokyo. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ginza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ginza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
