St. Augustine Night of Lights sail
This was our second time to take a cruise with the St. Augustine Sailing company. We were on their beautiful Catamaran Vessel, which held 10 of us for this evening sail. I spent most of the ride in the front of the ship next to the Trampoline's, watching the water and the shoreline. Our entire party agreed that this was the highlight of our visit to the Festival of Lights.
Response from the operator: We are ecstatic to hear that your time with St Augustine Sailing was your visit highlight! The lights from the water aboard the catamaran makes for a super comfy ride. Thank you for choosing us again.

Don’t Miss Taking a Night Sail
We had an exceptional time seeing the lights at night on the beautiful 40’ Wind Dancer! The lights were gorgeous and our Captain and Crew did a super job moving between the many boats in the harbor so we could get some fantastic photos! This is a must do if you are in the area during the Nights of Lights!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re delighted to hear you had an exceptional time aboard Wind Dancer for the Nights of Lights sail. The harbor truly comes alive with the beautiful lights, and we’re so glad our Captain and Crew helped make the experience memorable by getting you those fantastic photo opportunities. If you’re looking for another unique sailing adventure, we’d love to invite you back for our Sunset Tasting Cruise. It’s a relaxing way to enjoy the evening with incredible views and a curated selection of wines. We hope to see you on board again soon for another unforgettable experience! 🌟⛵️

Perfect Night of Light aboard "Sunset Sail" of St Augustine
Not as expected - Better than!!. The reception area was ready and the Capt. Chris and mate Joe were more than just tour boat operators, Just 5 of us were guided to a clean, spacious Catamaran with very nice seating arrangements. We purchased very economical Wine and Beer. We had the run of the boat by ourselves. The tour of the Lights was just amazing. The Capt. made multiple passes, we stood at the rails, and were treated as VIP members. Bathroom (Head), Decks, forward areas were just perfect. Perfect Excursion on a perfect evening in St. Augustine. Yes!!! I WOULD Do It AGAIN. Merry Christmas
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that your experience exceeded expectations and that Captain Chris and Mate Joe made your evening truly special. It’s always our goal to provide a VIP experience, and we’re delighted you enjoyed the spacious catamaran, comfortable seating, and the festive Lights Tour. We’re also glad you took advantage of our economical wine and beer offerings—it’s always a nice touch to enjoy a drink while soaking in the beautiful sights. Your kind words about the cleanliness and care of the boat, as well as the overall excursion, mean so much to us. We’d love to welcome you back aboard for another memorable evening.

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Nights of Lights Sailboat Tour St Augustine Sailing: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for St Augustine.
How much does Nights of Lights Sailboat Tour St Augustine Sailing cost?
+
Prices start at $774 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in St Augustine usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Nights of Lights Sailboat Tour St Augustine Sailing take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in St Augustine is not rushed.
Is Nights of Lights Sailboat Tour St Augustine Sailing worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in St Augustine, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Nights of Lights Sailboat Tour St Augustine Sailing?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Nights of Lights Sailboat Tour St Augustine Sailing suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Nights of Lights Sailboat Tour St Augustine Sailing?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in St Augustine can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in St Augustine and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Nights of Lights Sailboat Tour St Augustine Sailing start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central St Augustine within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in St Augustine?
+
St Augustine is walkable history: Castillo de San Marcos, Spanish quarter walking tours, trolley loops, lighthouse climbs and some of the best-attended ghost tours in the country. Guide storytelling quality is the main variable. On Outty we rank every St Augustine experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Medieval Torture Museum with Ghost Hunting and Tiny Art Gallery, St. Augustine's Wine, Cocktail and Food Experience, Dolphin and Wildlife Adventure of St. Augustine. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit St Augustine?
+
February to May and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in St Augustine?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
